That's right, I said assembly is tool free. Assembly sheet was easy to read English and easy to understand along with the pictorial assembly. I just had to get my father out of a bad home. He is three months shy of 88 years of age. I brought him home to look after him and noticed he did not want to shower or bathe. I put up numerous grab bars to aid him in and out of the tub, but still got resistance to showering or bathing. So I bought this chair so he could sit down and relax doing so.When the box arrived he saw it and asked who is this for. I told him it was for him. He got so excited that he started to assemble it himself. His face and demeaner had changed so much over what I thought was a simple chair. I let him put in the "T" bolts and then I made sure they were tightened down good. When it was fully assembled he couldn't wait to sit on it and did so. I told him it was for the bath tub so he could sit down and use the extended shower wand for bathing. At first he was apprehensive but when I put it in the tub he jumped into the tub to sit in it and attempted to turn on the water. Don't worry, I saved the day on that one. He is so happy over that shower/tub chair. He LOVES it!The quality of the chair is amazing. It is very strong but light. It has a back rest to it that is not required to be attached but sure aids in stabilizing the occupant. The legs have a super large amount of adjustability up and down. The leg feet have very large rubber stabilizer feet. And they are angled a bit to provide proper support in the tub.I may be missing some other spec's to share, but all I can say is this is a great SAFE chair for the elderly for bathing. I give it a full 5 Stars. I highly recommend this one. I think he will too!

This product was easy to assemble. No tools required; I am 66 with multiple ailments. I ordered this product had it together in a reasonable amount of time. Fits perfectly in my older bathtub. I normally just use permanent grab bars to shower and found this useful for soaking my feet and relaxing when I've been standing too long. Sturdy, comfortable and adjustable are just a few of the benefits. The price is competitive for this type of product. Highly recommend!

The chair was easy to put together with clear instructions included. Using it in the shower I felt safe The chair doesn't wobble and the large rubber caps on the legs make a solid connection to my shower floor which is made of pebbles so not exactly flat. I would order this again, recommend it to others; and in fact ordered the same for my brother a couple of years ago.

I found myself in need of a shower chair. I was told that it needed to be lightweight, have a removable back and offer adjustable height. After looking at many on Amazon I bought this one. I’m very satisfied as it offers everything I needed at a very affordable price! I have a fairly small stand up shower unit that isn’t square and it fits perfectly!The only thing I will say is the supposed easy assembly. First of all I’m terrible at putting anything together so I have to be fair. My Occupational Therapist was here and saw the box so he offered to put it together. I sat here watching him assemble it easy enough without tools but thought to myself there was no way in hell I could put this darn thing together!!! So if you’re like me and get a rash just thinking about assembling something then find somebody to do it for you. Otherwise go for it.The chair is very well constructed and nice and stable. It also has a spot on either side of the chair for the shower head.I would highly recommend this. For $40 it’s a great investment!
