Grinds cashew nuts beautifully but leaks if I add water to make nut milk...leaking into the mechanical section below...hmm..safety?.

This Grinder needs very little water for grinding any dry thing to a paste. So you have to be careful about the amount of water you add to it. If you add more water then it will spill & one reason being the small size of the jar.

Want to contact quest cause mine grinder starts immediately as soon power connected. bought on 19th feb 2020. so what is warranty period want to retur

U must return it because something is really wrong. It will only start once you press it

Has anyone succeeded in making dosa or vada batter in this grinder?

This is too small for dosa,vada quantities but ok for making chutneys.
