The Power of Communion: Accessing Miracles Through the Body and Blood of Jesus

The book is full of great testimonies and stories of the benefits of taking communion. Beni Johnson tells a lot about her journey which is a nice story for sure. After hearing Bill Johnson's sermon in Jan, I was hungry to know more. Why is it ok to use any food and drink for communion? How can you incorporate communion with meals--'breaking break together'? How can we involve our children who have believed? How do we handle communion as a family when some of our children haven't believed yet or we are not sure about their faith? I was hoping for more fresh insights into the scriptures that we have on communion. I didn't find any of this. From my perspective, the book was mainly filled with stories and testimonies. Of course, I appreciate stories and testimonies but I also appreciate a balance of heartier material.I found many good nuggets but they would have filled a booklet...not an entire book. I really appreciated Bill Johnson's chapter at the end. I found fresh insights there and wanted to hear more from him. An element of my disappointment with the book is that Beni's writing style is not a great fit for me. I really appreciate organization and depth and fresh insights.

I just read the free chapter that I was given as a download, and am looking forward to reading the rest. There is so much power in the blood of Jesus, so much more than most of us understand. I have been learning about it for years, and recently re-started the practice of daily communion in my home. The Lord is bringing us into the fullness of what He has done for us!

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. But everything was so right about this book. The testimonies to encourage you t believe how important it is to daily spend time wth the Father in communion not only for yourself but others.

I appreciate this book and the reminder of communion's power. Beni helps us to go back to the simplicity of communion and applying that to every difficult situation we face.

The first chapter was/is awesome, can't wait to read the whole book. The truth of communion has been hidden from many of us for years. I am thinking this book will help me realize what I have been missing.To me it is like having a secret weapon but never spiritually prophetically "pulling the trigger" so to speak in proclaiming the events of The Cross to our spiritual enemies.(just wish the whole book was available on Kindle)

It ended before it really got started.It is a good little book though. It only takes a few minutes to read, but very good.

This book opens your eyes about communion. Thought provoking yet accessible and readable, it will make you think more about what you are doing and why. Don't expect to carry on the rituals of celebrating communion unchanged after reading it. The challenge now is to incorporate all that you say and do in a ritual to access the power of healing contained within the Last Supper. The book can be read by all those taking or leading communion. It advocates daily taking of the elements, with whatever is to hand, which may be radical for some readers.

A timely exhortation to celebrate ALL that Jesus has done for us through his broken body and shed blood. As an intercessor it also showed me the additional tool I have in my armoury.

I have been attacked in all facets of life and did not know what to do, this topic came when I least expected, thank you for pointing me in the right direction for Christ became a curse for us as said in Galatians 3 v 13

A most excellent small book that illuminates the holy communion into its wider context and meaning. I’d thoroughly recommend it.
