Ikaria Heather (Anama) Honey 16oz Ikaria, Greece - a designated Blue Zone. Delicious. Pure, Raw, Never heated. New Packaging!

We had been enjoying a heather honey from Greece and were looking to order more. Could not find exactly the same brand ( idyll) and picked this one. This is spectacular. So glad we were forced to experiment. No going back or looking further. The perfect honey to eat with a spoon or any other way you might wish.

This honey is not overly sweet. It is thick and has a slightly herbal taste. I have tried honey from New Zealand (including Manuka), Brazil, Italy, the US, Tasmania, Taiwan, and other parts of Asia. I would rate this honey in my top five and will definitely order again.

Jar came broken. 🙁

I ordered one jar of Ikaria Anama honey. I received one jar of Ikaria Anama-and-Pine honey. The package arrived last Wednesday but I noticed the mistake only today (Saturday). I am sure it is very good honey (not tasted yet; I have ordered a variety of honeys recently, in addition to those I found locally). I would say, though, that for the price they charge, they could pay some more attention to what they are shipping. (I ordered the jar with the yellow label, got the one with the green label).My advice: try ordering the Anama-and-Pine honey; with a little luck you might get the Anama-only honey. Does not make sense, but worth trying; you never know!

I purchased this honey after seeing youtube clips of how beautiful Icaria is and hearing about their honey. It's suppose to be very healthy for you and you can definitely see why, considering its such a beautiful and healthy place for the bees, as well as the people that live there. I'd love to visit this place someday. Their honey is quite uniquely delicious! Tastes like butter toffee and is really rich and thick. Comes in a glass bottle, so nothing, including its quality is spared. The color is excellent and since I've tasted quite a few honeys before......I must say hands down, this has to be the most delicious! I'm looking forward to experiencing the benefits of this wonderful honey and would like to express my appreciation to the people of Icaria for sharing such a beautiful expression of love for others by sharing this healthy and wonderful gift! Thank you!
