Water2buy Under-Sink All in One Reverse Osmosis Water Filter - RO550 6 Stage Non Pump Reverse Osmosis + Mineral Filter

The water filter arrived quickly and well packaged. One of the good things was it did not need much putting together, all the small links and connecting pipes were already in place. I just had to position it, I have got standard kitchen units with a kick plate (wickes, b&q etc..) that clips on. With about 1cm to spare it slipped under the kitchen sink cupboard nicely (I didn't want it take up space in the cupboard).A small reel of pipe is supplied to connect the :- 1. filter to mains supply, the splitter fit fine between my pipe and cold tap fixing. 2.the drain fixing was an easy fit with a small hole drilled into the side of the waste pipe. 3. the tap is a nice quality, and i'm guessing it has a ceramic valve because the on and off is very smooth and definite, the fixings for this were plenty and it's nice and secure on the sink. 4. The storage tank is exactly that, unfortunately this had to go in the cupboard, but didn't take up as much space as I thought.Having cut the pipe into four I then fed them though the gap at the back of the sink cupboard down to the filter on the floor (I forgot to say I did put some thick plastic sheeting down to aid sliding the filter under the unit and to keep it clean). There are four neat little labeled caps on the filter so I knew which pipe went where. Having connected the pipes, I turned the water back on. I then turned the water on at the splitter valve and waited for the inevitable leak. I was surprised, there were none. It just worked.It took me a good few hours to fit, but this included the prep of tidying the kitchen sink cupboard as well. If you have basic diy knowledge i.e you've fixed a toilet or changed a tap, then this will be a breeze.Have been using it for about two weeks and it's still working just fine, the flow rate is good and the water tastes like expensive mineral water, which is why I went for the mineral filter version, which are also meant to increase the ph to create an alkaline water. The family are all using it and have commented how drinks have more flavour.The filter is very quiet in operation and only audible if the room is quiet. Naturally reverse osmosis wastes water (with the impurities that have been filtered out), but I pleasantly surprised that the filter did not start up every time the tap was used and would supply about 2.3L (I measured it) before kicking in to refill the tank.Also having descaled the kettle at the same time as installation, I am pleased to say it is still scale free. One of the reasons I got a filter was because our taps aerators would often (6 months) clog and slow the water flow down and upon cleaning them I would find lots of small grit particles. Obviously the filter won't prevent our taps getting clogged, but it will prevent us from drinking the small grit particles that come from the mains supply and pass through the aerators.The only downsides, it wasn't free and I'll have to change the filter every 6 - 12 months.I may invest in a TDS meter to check water quality (the particles in the water) so I'll know the filters are still working (ebay for less than £5).I also had some questions of water2buy, I found the website on a search engine, where they were most helpful on the live chat and answered all my questions, well worth a visit.

We purchased this water filter when we moved into our new build home in July 2015. We knew we were moving into a really hard water area and we wanted to install this alongside a water softener so as to have soft, beautifully filtered water to drink and to ensure that all our appliances would be less likely to develop limescale, which can turn out to be expensive if limescale builds up too much.It arrived on time, well packaged and with nothing missing. As my husband isn't very DIY minded we employed a local plumber to install the filter. This was simple and quick, the plumber said that it was a very easy job.Since then we have enjoyed beautifully filtered and great tasting drinking water, our 21 month old daughter will not drink anything else, she loves it!It has never caused us any problems, and we can't imagine not having it. Even though all the water that comes into the house is softened by the softener, the difference in taste and feel in the mouth of the filtered water compared to the regular tap water is huge, the filtered water is much, much better tasting!We were very happy with this filter when we first got it, nine months later we are still very happy with it.Highly recommended!

I have ordered two of this units from USA and had them delivered to Cyprus, so I can install one at my house there and one at my brothers home in late February when I visit.Service was excellent and fast delivery at lowest possible price on amazon, UK, that I could find.This is, actually a 6 stage unit, which has the alkaline filter that puts back into the water some of the minerals for better tasting water. Similar products were quite bit more expensive! the bottom line is, all reverse osmosis systems, regardless of name/brand/model--all use the exact same filters. Looks may be little different, but the filters are the same and the quality of the water would be the exact same thing from one to another. Other competitors, not only more expensive but also wouldn't even deliver to Cyprus. Great Price/service/value. Thank you! Mike, USA. Installed under our sink to provide safe drinking water for our family. We live in Ireland and Gov. Insist on flouridating our water, also lead pipes supply house.

was very easy to install i did it myself, we are very pleased with this item and the description of what it does is fully correct, it gives you pure drinking water even better than bottled water as i purchased a water tester to test levels, i would definately reccomend this item
