I researched pillows to sit on for wheel chair bound and the like. This seat is wonderful.Her sore started looking better in 24 hours. It is totally gone now! It took about a week.Just like it said, the pressure points are relieved because it redistribute the weight!Thank you sooo much!The Best Ever!

This cover fits over the PURAP Wheelchair Cushion very well and is removable and easy to wash.

I purchased this cushion about six weeks ago and it really has worked to prevent my mom from getting bed sores. She's 95 and sits in her favorite stuffed chair all day. She was getting open sores on her behind regularly for about three weeks, which I would care for, but one would go away and another one would follow. I had purchased two other chair cushions prior to this one, but they did not help. When this cushion arrived, I immediately placed it for my mom. Her last wound healed and she has not received another sore since. It sold me, so I then purchased the Purap lumbar back cushion for her too, and then I bought the Purap U-float seat cushion for my sciatica issue. I think it has helped me too.

Fits perfectly. The material is synthetic, I would have preferred it to be 100% cotton to avoid heat and perspiration, so I wrapped the cushion with the cover in a 100% pillow case.

This product works well for my 87-year-old mom. She was starting to get a pressure sore . The cushion helped heal it fastand she’s never gotten another one. She uses it in her her wheelchair and lift chair lounger. This was a bit expensive for us, but we’ll worth it!!
