I buy this Tryptophan with a 220 Mg dose, this is plenty strong for me, larger doses are too strong-at least for me.

Calming affect
I like this product alot. Helps calm my mind and helps me sleep.

Exhaustion
My blood test showed extremely low serotonin. I thought I'd try 500 mg of this supplement to help my body make more serotonin. After about a week and a half I started to feel such exhaustion. The fatigue you feel when you're getting sick. I never got sick, though. It got so bad that I had to sleep during the day and I started getting so anxious. I finally realized that my only change I had made was this supplement. So I started taking this lower dose. The feeling came right back, again, after 3 weeks. No more L-Tryptophan for me.
