The measuring devices on the surface make it quick and easy to get the cut you want. I would definitely recommend this product. I like the see-thru ruler. I used a little household oil to lubricate the guide bar/ plastic guide which helped with it being tough to push.Happy with the quality and it has good weight to it and rubber non-slip pads.

Perfect for trimming my prints. Old one died after 40 years . Similar design. Like that the wheel (cutter) cuts papers without a cutting mat. Very accurate cut.

The unit I got requires a lot of force to move the slider, with or without paper, to a point that it's not usable. The sliding resistance is much more than one would expect in cutters like this one. I don't know if it's the design or just a bad unit I got but I am reviewing what I observed. Also, I didn't find a way to adjust the resistance.This one is going back to Amazon and I will keep looking for a better product.
