Favorite Scary Stories of American Children Paperback – December 19, 2005

Some of these stories scared the kids pretty good, and others made them laugh. The engaged, and enjoyed me reading this book. They were 8-9 year old girls camping in the barn after our lakeside birthday campout got rained out! The kids requested some of these stories to be read again too!

Love the stories kids enjoy it.

My boys love scary stories, so it seems they are enjoying this book. Also, it keeps them quiet for a short period of the day.

My Daughter loves scary stories so I got her this for her birthday. She has read it over several times.

If you use the age appropriate suggestions in the book you cannot go wrong or get to over their heads.

I bought this book for my 9 year old daughter. She is having a really hard time getting into it.

Brought back memories of elementary school, love this book for Halloween.

I was truly disappointed in all of these stories. I always preread them before reading to my fourth graders. I chose not to read any of these.
