this juice kits starting SG
This product for the cost is a bad purchase. I poured the merlot juice into my primary then added the water to make 6 gallons. The beginning SG was only 1.40 ...way too low as per instructions. the SG should be at least 1.70 and that is a minimum SG. I also noticed that the juice was kind of THIN when as I pour it into my fermenter.

It works like a charm and makes the best wine
Have purchased this kit several times. It works like a charm and makes the best wine. So much so that during a wine party it was rated number 4 out of 48.

Good Wine.
This wine was the first that I made in my home. I was worried about how it would try out. I only got 26 bottles, but it has good favor even before it has aged any.
