I finally found the elusive perfect floor chair. Just the right size and well made with decent water resistant material that is easy to care for unlike chairs with fabric coverings that can stain, absorb and retain odors. Wipe off with damp cloth to clean it. The covering repels dirt and liquids better than regular fabric upholstery (soft with no synthetic leather smell). Easy to store, light enough to be moved around yet sturdy and stays in place. This is a versatile chair good for working, gaming, reading, meditating or just for watching TV while reclined (it adjusts / clicks into position with little effort). It has enough cushion to be comfortable along with sufficient back support while it remains not bulky - keeping the clean lines, minimalist-contemporary aesthetic.I love that I can just easily roll off to the side of this chair to do my stretches, exercises, play with my dogs, kids on the floor. I prefer floor seating because it is more comfortable, I can spread out as needed and I definitely am more productive / creative. Also, there are many health / physical and psychological benefits in sitting on the floor.Great design with form + function.

I'm not a fan of pleather. The seat has almost no cuhion. The ratcheting mechanism is junky.With that said, I set it at 90 degrees and leave it. I can comfortably recline in at as I wish. My cat loves to have easy access to my lap.I would be concerned with the longevity of it if you plan on using the ratcheting feature.

My objective was to find a more comfortable replacement for an old Backjack to be used for extended sitting during long meditation retreats. The Backjack, while innovative when it was first introduced, is quite uncomfortable compared to floor seating options that are available today. After searching Amazon for options, I purchased the bonVIVO Easy Comfort Floor Chair and the bonVIVO Easy II Floor Chair to compare.Hands down, the Easy Comfort was the winner solely due to its larger length and width, even though a drawback for this model is the fake leather covering. The microfiber covering on the Easy II feels much nicer to the touch and would not be cold to sit on in the early morning. But it was worth trading the soft cover for the bigger size which also extends flat into a decent size mat.Another drawback is that there is insufficient cushioning in the seat. At 130 pounds, I could feel the hardness of the floor through the padding. Over an extended period of time, I knew it just wouldn’t be comfortable. However, I purchased a memory foam cushion to add extra padding - TravelMate Extra-Large Memory Foam Seat Cushion. That totally solved the padding problem, makes the seat warmer to sit on, and is less slippery as the cushion has a non-slip surface on the bottom. The cushion also fits the seat perfectly so now it’s an incredibly comfortable setup.The only other possible downside for use in a very quiet space is that the adjusting mechanism makes a fairly loud clicking sound, but that’s something that all of these types of floor chairs have in common.So, while not perfect, I’m very happy with how comfortable and versatile the bonVIVO Easy Comfort Floor Chair is with the added cushion.

I am 5'2" <120lb. I was an avid runner. I have hip impingement and an inflamed problematic tendon this all makes it difficult to sit in a 90 deg angle normal position, so I spend alot of time on the floor. I telework and sit on the floor, I needed back support. I do NOT recommend this chair if you are a bigger person, it may not be enough for you.

The ratchet mechanism broke after little over 1 month of moderate daily use. The chair will no longer lay flat nor can it support weight in an upright position. I opened it up and sure enough, the gears have shredded themselves.The decorative buttons fell off almost immediately, so it is not surprising that the ratchet was also low quality. I would not recommend purchasing this or any product from this brand, as I no longer trust the quality of their materials.

I had bought a similar one a while ago but all you felt were the wires and pipes on the back as it didn’t have enough cushion.Not this one. It’s a littler taller, has better cushion for back support and the overall quality feels great.For floor gaming or on top of the bed.

This product was great but the one I received was defective perhaps it was only mine, the zipper track teeth didn’t meet up: skipped some I was worried that it would not go back together if I attempted to remove it for cleaning which I would want to do considering it is cloth. Handle was also a little bulky for carrying and over length seemed a bit short, I would recommend a slightly higher back so that there is some neck support and while the chair goes completely flat could double as a portable pat for those that need to take a rest from being upright or standing.

I just received this floor chair and is is as described. Seems sturdy and comfortable. Other reviews say buttons came off but since I’ve only had it a few minutes I can’t comment on that. Hopefully I won’t have to. It’s perfect for sitting on the floor and playing with my grand baby without taking up much space in my daughters small house. Can be easily stored out of the way. Easily cleanable with a damp cloth. Very lightweight. The ONLY suggestion I can offer is that it would be nice if it had a simple handle ( like what’s on a tote bag perhaps) on the top for carrying.
