I’ve been taking these for at least two years or longer. I feel that after a lot of medical research I find all sorts of interesting information about this antioxidant!! I believe since it is grown in the isolated Hawaii islands that it is the purest form made. Other companies didn’t offer the type of information provided by this company or offer organic methods for growing the product.I followed the instructions when I first started taking the pills, slowly adding more pills. I didn’t have any side effects or problems. I take them 1st thing every morning along with a 1/2 cup of Kefir and on-ward with my day! I’ve never had any nasty after taste. I rarely get sick with colds etc. and never have abdominal issues or yeast infectionsYou can look up the company’s information and see how it is grown in fresh organic matter. I believe I am getting my money’s worth. I recently switched over to 1000 mg x3 a day. Love that it is much more convenient.. I believe I am very healthy with the help of these “greenies”.

I was informed about these pills from a book by Susan Cohen. Susan has a doctorate in drugs rather than medicine. I could only find the powder locally. I am not a doctor and these are my own opinions based on personal use. They are an over the counter supplement and not meant for medical cures.Apparently these pills are a little more effective in the treatment of Type II diabetes than Glucophage or Metformin. In her book, the Diabetes Cure, she mentions this along with a few other over the counter supplements. She mentions that Metformin is 13% effective in lowering blood sugars. Where these grass products have a tendency to control it at 23-26%. Since this medicine is over the counter it is not considered a drug. But if it works, it works. I can only say it has had a moderate success rate for me. What it does for anyone else, I suggest you talk to your family doctor before trying anything. The danger is not that it works. The danger might be reactions from other things you are taking. If you take it, keep a really close eye on your sugar as you could easily go low with this pill. If you feel uncomfortable talking to your doctor about it, get a new doctor. One familiar with over the counter supplements and their effects.I have been on the prescription drugs for years. Recently had to start insulin shots. The problem has been that you get acclimatized to drugs after you use them for years.The gas involved with Metformin is also a slight problem. This product tends to minimize the gas from the Metformin as a minor side effect. Normally I use Krill Oil tablets for that purpose. Both stabilize your stool. The Krill Oil is better than this at stabilizing.Also this product has a tendency to clean your system of drugs. Again it is mild and not on prescription at this time. Dr. Mercola says that we all have mercury in our systems if we have had teeth filled over the years. So this might help with other things as well. The product came promptly. Suggest you put the unused bottle in the refrigerator.I am happy with it.

I bought this to help balance my hormones, help with postnatal acne and as one of the item food supplements needed to detox heavy metals. First its easy to swallow and has the spearmint flavor which is helpful. I've never tasted spirulina but I imagine there's a reason the add the flavor. It's comes in a dark glass bottle that I store I the fridge for freshness. I started with one pill for a week and now currently taking 2 pills a day and will eventually work my way to recommended dosage of 3 pills a day. It's awesome that these are a 1000 MG because I wouldn't want to swallow 6 pills a day or more to get the same amount. I read spirulina is great for acne. I've been struggling with adult acne slfor 11 weeks since my son was born. I crushed up a tab and added aloe to make a face mask. I've been taking spirulina for almost 2 weeks snow and I've seen a huge difference in my skin being clearer. Like I said before, I added spirulina to my diet to help balance my hormones. I have pcos and am having difficulty producing enough milk for my son. I've added other supplements to my diet as well I haven't seen a huge difference with my milk supply but this could take some time. I work in the dental field and am exposed to heavy metals like mercury. Spirulina aids in detoxing these metals from your body. Overall spirulina is a great super food to add to your daily routine for many reasons. This brand was highly recommended by my nutritionist. All supplements are not created equal. Some brands are not good quality and with this item you can assured your getting the best.

I have used this product for several years but always purchased from a different supplier. Glad to find that Amazon carries it, for less than others. Plus their delivery people actually get it to my doorstep instead of tossing it over my fence into the muddiest possible spot in my yard.

I like it because of it benefits for health.The powder is kind of hard to dissolve,have to mix it with room temperature liquids and let it rest for a few minutes otherwise won't dissolve.However, if I put it in my nutribullet with my smoothies will mix right in.The taste is kind of strong. I like that comes in dark,glass bottle to preserve the product better.Get the capsules if you don't want the hassle of the powder.It was shipped fast and safe. Haven't have any problems. I like and trust this brand.
