ALOT SMALLER THEN IT LOOKS! That was my first disappointment. It’s made to work backwards from what I thought. It’s made to plug in with the hose and then carry the whole unit away from the compressor, then attach your air tools to the side double connectors. I had a 25 ft hose so I redid the hose connector on the unit to accept my tools and ran my 25 ft hose(only really need about 5ft of hose) between the compressor and one of the double connectors on the side of the unit. It works fine this way. Just didn’t expect to have to modify it. Who wants to carry the whole unit out to your car to put air in a tire. Now after modified I can just grab the hose and go, then real it back in.

Four stars because it doesn't lock. When I bought this, it was exactly what I wanted, a manual hose reel. I don't like automatic ones, they're always breaking no matter how much you pay for them if you use them every day. Is the hose the greatest on this? Absolutely not. I've had it for years though and I've broken many other rubber hoses while this plastic one keeps on chugging. Gave the reel to my buddy when I upgraded all my reels to a locking manual model, he's still using it.

I've 100' of inexpensive compressor hose. Basically it's unmanageable, and only appreciated because of what it does for me. Now it's safely on the garage wall and takes up much less space than my prior efforts to coil it up after use. It ain't sophisticated but it works really well. You may need to buy a fitting or two (don't forget the teflon tape) to hook up the supply hose to the reel.

This was a gift for my husband for an air compressor hose and it works perfectly for what he needed! It holds 100 feet of hose quite well and the cranking operation is very smooth.The frame is sturdy and mounts on the wall quite nicely. This was a very good purchase!

Holds plenty of hose, but not too well made. CHINESE import that was slapped together. Handle doesn't work too well. Hose leaks at the joint with the reel, so the tank empties after each use. So we have to shut the pump off and restart the filling before each use. It does work as far as keeping the hose nicely organized.

Helps keep my father garage organize and keep the hoses off of the floor. When winding you must guide the hose with your free hand or it will catch on the guards. Winding is not effortless but it is also not daunting.

Great hose setup! Doesn't leak at all. I can leave it hooked up for days with no loss of air pressure. i was skeptical at first due to the low price, but it ended up being worth it.

Have not put it up yet in the workshop, but is seems well made for the price.
