A must for riding on neglected roads
A few things to consider:• If you're considering a suspended fork, try this first. You probably won't need it.• Get the heavier rider weight version if you're undecided. It comes with extra set of springs for the size down if you find the heavy is to stiff.• It's OK to mix and match a heavy spring with a lighter one. Just be sure to use the correct length. I'm right around 200 lbs and use a 200-260 spring on top and a 150-200 on bottom.• If you have a carbon frame get the carbon or aluminum frame get the aluminum. A chemical reaction between carbon and aluminum can have a welding affect over time.• Cirrus Cycles should give bike stores some for demo. It will sell itself.

DOES WHAT THEY SAY. IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT GET IT.
Basically I love the new spring post. And the post is also adjustable for seat pitch, and for replacing lighter or heavier sprigs to suit your weight and amount of give. Sometimes the springs do squeak. Not all the time. Not real loud. Not a major issue. So I put furniture paste wax on the spring seats (used for squeaky drawers etc) Never noticed it again. I needed this so bad on account of prostate issues. What a difference. I was going to get a larger seat as well but so far I haven't had to.

5 stars minus 2 equals 3
This thing is bouncy and needs some sort of dampening incorporated into the springs ..The protective cover should be provided with the purchase ..This thing has many moving parts that are in the direct path of the rear wheel road spray ! The cover is not even available on amazon..

Even better than I expected! Makes a good ride great. Goodbye, post-ride stiff back!
This seatpost is something I have wanted for my Juiced Bikes CCS ebike for a long time. It lives up to, and sometimes surpasses my expectations. Makes my rides on our rough roads much smoother. I spend a lot more time seated now, instead of standing on the pedals through rough patches. It makes a whole lot of the "road noise" disappear. My back isn't stiff after a 20 mile ride anymore! I still try to avoid big holes, to go easy on my hub motor and wheel. The CCS with this seatpost goes a long way toward making the Earth seem smooth and flat on my hilly rides on rough roads.I am still trying to find a locking seatpost clamp that fits my bike, so that I won't have to bring it in the grocery store to keep it from walking away.I really love this seatpost, it makes a great ride even better!

Comfy for gravel
I’ve been doing a lot of gravel riding lately and couldn’t stand being out more than 30 miles. I narrowed the field down to Cirrus and soon to be released Redshift seatposts. Based on a very positive recommendation from friends who have one on their tandem and the fact the Redshift was not available yet I went with the Cirrus and I am glad I did. I did a 26 mile gravel ride on it and felt the best I have to date and was not sore the next day. I’m at the upper range of the weight so I may try out the heavier spring it ships with to see the difference.

Very satisfied!
While a bit on the pricey side, it's worth every penny for me. I mostly do "gravel grinder" and mountain bike trail rides, and I was having problems with my back afterwards. After about eight rides, I deem this a massive success. I will never ride without it.

Excellent
Absolute cure for the sore butt. The only regret, I have, I did not purchase this sooner. A quality product that works. It is easily adjustable for the rider's desire. I just put 35 miles on my bike and my butt had no aches. Very comfortable riding. I am well aware the springs do wear out, and this company gives you an extra pair of springs. You don't have to buy the whole post and spring set, just attach new springs. And the springs are easy to install. They just pop in. This seat post makes bike riding a lot more comfortable.
