Gothic Vintage Womens Steampunk Victorian Swallow Tail Long Trench Coat Jacket

I LOVE THIS coat. It isn’t thick enough for a real winter coat but I’m in So CA so it’s kind of fits for our weather here. The reviews are tricky and I was confused like the rest. I purchased a Large based on reviews but I should have listened to my gut. I’m 6’1, 144lbs, a US size 6. I should have gone with a Medium to begin with. I have since exchanged it for a Medium. There were no Small sizes available at the time of this review. 10/1/2018.I am pictured here in the Large. It’s way to big in the waist for my taste, but I could still pull it off. I just prefer clothing more fitted. Bottom line, if you are busty or have a tummy, then order a size up. If you’re not, order your regular size because the shape and fabric is forgiving and flowy.Update: The Medium fits perfectly. I should have stayed true to size. Plus the sleeves can be lowered to be lengthened. The Medium is the brown hair pic.

This jacket is made of light material, so it wouldn’t be the best coat for a really cold day, but for fashion and beauty, it’s perfect!!! I must say I went to put it on for the first time, and one of the buttons fell off, so that was disappointing, but I sewed it back on right away and she was good as new....but be sure to be careful with the buttons...they all seem to be loosely sewed on.This has to be one of the most beautiful jackets I have purchased...it fits like a glove, front is beautiful, and it has a really cool belt that goes halfway around your waist...around the back, so it really gives the jacket a nice statement of class. It has pockets which are kind of big, but if you smooth them out, it doesn’t make your hips look huge. The pockets are well made, perfect for whatever you need to carry. The cut of the jacket is gorgeous. It comes down to my knees in the front, and as the fabric circles around to the back, it’s get longer and looks very regal. I almost didn’t get this jacket because we are halfway through winter already, but this will be a perfect jacket as the temperatures begin to slowly increase into spring.

The jacket is cute but when you look at the description it clearly states red. It is bot even close to red but more of a burnt orange. I returned mine as I needed red. Quality ok. Very light material

I used their size chart for this product and I know my measurements. This doesn't match their size chart. However, the jacket does look as pictured. The material is as described, thin, polyester/cotton. Not great, but not terrible.

a bit smaller than expected but still fit well. buttons are a bit loose/flimsy but are fine after reinforcing a bit. i am 5'9" and I got a medium. it was fitting but not uncomfortable. just bought this for a costume so i can't speak for how well it holds up long-term, but i got some good comments on it. i would just suggest sizing up when ordering if you want a bit of room or if you'd want to wear a sweater underneath.

It's a $30 cheap coat made of thin, flimsy poly fabric so it doesn't hang or sit the way it is pictured. The color I received was WILDLY different from what was pictured- I ordered the maroon, and got a bright cherry red garment instead.I'm not sure what's going on with the other reviews that have pictures- because what they received looks a lot more like the product photos and VERY different from what I received (maybe the listing is using photos of a different item). I'm glad I ordered a size up because this item is in chinese sizing (and therefore runs much smaller than US sizes)- so just a thing to be wary of when ordering. I was sent the supposed "right" equivalent size in the asian sizing (a size up from what was listed- i ordered a large thinking i'd just take it in and received an xl) but honestly I still think it runs a bit small (the sleeves were short) even with this adjustment.The lapels/collar cannot possibly stand up straight the way they do in the photos as they have no interfacing and the fabric is -as mentioned- very thin and flimsy. This garment is also unlined so it's not likely to last very long. It's fine for my purposes (costume) but definitely not good for actual wear.it's got strong "ordered from wish" vibes :/

This jacket is super cute. It is pretty and looks nice. It's a thin material and not warm at all, but looks nice and flows well. The buttons are medal. The size does run big. My daughter in the photo is 14. She sews and did take it in a lot. She wears it all the time, and it works for casual outfits or as a semi formal jacket as shown. It's a good value for the price.

Received so many compliments on this. Great value. Can wear so many ways. Fit was great and was flattering.
