Probably the best INSTANT coffee I’ve tasted. After decades of making coffee from freshly ground coffee beans, I've used it frequently.Big Pharma assumes that everyone should be on one drug or another. I’m their nightmare. I do love bold Italian and Spanish espressos ....from Starbucks to the ones available in supermarkets .... but I've been trying for some time to find a regular coffee to give my mornings some variety .... and I've had one disappointment after another .... then .... for some reason I had a craving for a freeze dried instant coffee ... I'm in my 60's and actually haven't had an instant since my college days ... so ... I came to Amazon to check the reviews . .... I read everything that I could ... and finally decided to give the Buendia a try... I was really hesitant to order a coffee online without my own taste test .... especially a 3 pack no less . . . But I really did have a craving ...and my local market only carried the Buendia de-caffinated . . . . so ... I put my trust in the Amazon reviews that I read and ordered the Juan Valdez Columbian Classic .... and I just have to tell everyone that I love it ... it's rich and flavorful and topped each time with a beautiful crema ... I can't stop drinking it ... I've enjoyed every cup ... and haven't been back to my traditional brewed coffees since my order arrived a few weeks ago .... So I'd like like to add my two cents and recommendation for this brand ...

Don't be fooled by all the positive reviews. I've been looking for an instant coffee that is a reasonable fascimile of real drip or brewed coffee and based on the reviews here , I purchased this stuff. As background, I Like the taste of real coffee, so I drink my coffee black, with no sugar! I think it would be impossible to drink this stuff that way. It tastes like sewage.. ughh... I can choke down Nescafe instant coffee if I have to.. but this stuff is awful!! I have no idea how anybody could even remotely compare this to real coffee.. Maybe if you used 10 teaspoons and sugar and 2:1 ratio of milk or cream, it might be palatable.. but as a for real coffee flavor.. yuck!!

Good stuff. When added to almond milk or regular milk it gives you that iced coffee flavor that you get in the store bought drinks, which is impossible to match using regular coffee because you have to brew that with water. This stuff actually tastes like coffee, not like the weird molasses flavors I've tasted in some cheaper brands I had before.

Let's get something straight; this is instant coffee, not the type you grind and brew. With that being said, me and my wife came upon this at a local retail store. We noticed it was in a glass container and from our experience, most products that come in glass containers are good. Not all, but most. So we bought it and brewed up a cup each upon arriving at our home. We immediately noticed how rich, smooth, and bold the flavor was. We don't drink it plain dark, we add sugar and a bit of half & half creamer which really brings out the flavor. We have bought no other coffee from that day forth. We tried a Nescafe Classico because we couldn't find this one and that was just a very bad day. We hate wasting food and watching that stuff go in the trash was a bit painful but we promised never to do that again. Try this coffee and see how you like it. This is MY review and I am not by any means a coffee connoisseur but I will tell you about something good when I see it. This is that good 'something'. We just ordered six jars of it from Amazon and are hoping to recieve them soon.
