This belt works great when I walk before daylight. It stays lit the entire two hour walk. I have had motorists tell me how easily they can see me as they pass by me.

This belt fit well and it's a great concept. I'm all about visibility while running, but I got all of 3 runs with this thing before it just quit working. It won't charge or come on now at all. The only thing I can think is that it got wet. I live north of Seattle so it's frequently rainy. I'll be going back to my old reflective vest thingy.

The images are misleading - the lighted portion of this is only about 22 inches long, so the lighted part won't even come close to going all the way around the waist of most adults, even if one is relatively skinny. Note that in the image the buckle to adjust it has been pulled back onto the lighted portion. It does not lay flat when you do this, not to mention the fact that it would only go around a child's waist at this size.Also, the number of reviews from people who received this belt at a discount in order to review it is somewhat off putting - although I do acknowledge that it's probably a new item that needs exposure.The said, it does seem to be pretty good quality, so I would have given it 4 stars if it weren't for the misleading images.

UPDATE 2/16/16: great seller! I had commented in my review this belt sagged when I adjusted it. Right away, there was an e-mail from the seller showing me how to adjust it correctly, including picture.. Basically, I thought that you could only adjust the belt on the part where there is no light, but actually, you can adjust over the light with no damage. Now it fits perfectly!I like to walk my dog or ride my bike in the evenings when it is much cooler - the only concern of course is making sure that I am seen. People just don’t seem to slow down in their cars (which I guess isn’t a big shock). I recently purchased an LED light collar for my dog, and it was very poorly made - I had to reinforce it myself with needle and thread to keep it from falling apart, so I was quite surprised by the high quality of this belt. It is thick, sturdy, and durable, but not heavy. Why didn’t I think of lighting myself up instead of the dog?I really like the look of it as a regular belt in the pictures, but as a smaller person (5’2” 115 lbs), it sagged down, even when adjusted to the smallest size.. Fortunately, there are a number of ways to wear this - you can wrap it around your back over a backpack, wear it criss cross (like an “X”) or wear it like a sash. The light covers most of the belt, so you will definitely be seen. I also tried wrapping around my dogs waist - he’s a little guy, so I looped it twice and he was okay with - definitely much more visible than with the LED collar.The belt came with enough charge to go out on a walk. You use a micro USB to charge it - the same type used for pretty much most other chargeable devices such as battery power banks, bluetooth speakers, etc. It charges quite quickly (about 2 hours) and according to the package it will go for 46 hours when the light is in “flash” mode. You can also set the light in “solid” mode.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to be highly visible at night. It’s a very well made product that looks great.

This adjustable length LED belt is super convenient to wear for safety, quick to put on, and the lights look pretty cool.The light has 2 settings: Solid or flashing. A single switch is used to turn on and toggle between the light up modes.At its longest length, this belt is about 43" but is adjustable to make smaller. The LED light up portion is about 2 feet long.This belt is sturdy and strong.I ordered the blue LED light. It looks really cool (more dark blue when illuminated in the picture that I took. The photo makes the blue look brighter than in person).I wear this when walking in the dark in the evening. It makes me visible but is not obnoxiously bright.
