Where can I purchase cables for this?

This VCR works very well with TV cable service. For recording and playing, you must connect the in coming TV cable to the VCR input, and with a new cable connect the VCR output to the TV input. TV cable can be purchased many places such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.

What cables do I use to connect this to TV? Manual says RF coaxial cable VJAS0196 but can't find this match anywhere on Internet (I'm not tech savvy!)

If you are just playing the VCR videos, purchase a 3 wire RCA Cable, Stereo/VCR RCA Cable, 2 RCA (Audio) + RCA RG59 Video, http://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Cable-Audio-Gold-plated-Connectors/dp/B000I1GZ6O/ref=sr_1_22?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1431612437&sr=1-22&keywords=rca+video+cable and connect yellow from VCR Video out to TV Video In; Red from VCR Audio Right Out to TV Audio Right In; and White from VCR Audio Left Out to TV Audio Left In. Add another of the same cable from your cable box to your VCR to record. The Coax will not work on new TVs as the tuners are now digital. Good luck!
