Good but damaged
One of the corners had been damaged in transit. I managed to fix it, but it doesn't look quite how it should. Don't expect this with something so expensive.

Concurring
My previous self-assembled wine rack fell apart after some 15 years of service and numerous attempts to put it back ogether again. I was definitely in the hmarket for a wine rack and I wanted something solid and ready made. This particular wine rack fulfils that role admirably. The delivery was prompt and came exactly as described. Within a short time of arriving it was filled with wine bottles and sitting in the place under the stairs which I had marked out for it. It will hold all standard 750ml wine bottles easily. However, I have had to put my champagne bottles along the top rack because the normal spaces were just too tight. I guess a propos a previous reviewer that it probably depends on what sort of sparkling wine bottles you purchase. However, I am very pleased with this purchase and looks like it will give faithful service over many years.

Sturdy but you cannot see the bottle labels
This is a good sturdy piece of equipment which looks good when filled with bottles and did not need to be fixed to the wall in order to be perfectly stable. It arrived fully assembled, as advertised, and was well packaged. The only very minor downside is that each layer is not much taller than the bottle itself. This means that once the wine rack is fully loaded with bottles you cannot see the labels and have to pull them out to see which wine is which and how many you have left of a specific type. It's something you would not necessarily guess from the photograph on the Amazon page. When it arrived it smelled quite strongly of preserved wood, but this faded over the period of several days.

Maximum wine density
This rack is perfect. I have it installed now in the bottom of my kitchen pantry cupboard. I never thought I'd be able to fit so much wine in there.I read reviews about the kit versions, and for the extra quid decided I'd be better getting the pre-assembled version. I think I made a good decision. Looking at how it fits together I can only imagine sliced hands and swearing would have been in my future otherwise. It manages to fit the maximum amount of wine in the smallest amount of space. The rack feels very stable. The holes seem to be OK for all bottles, even quite large ones (tested it with a champagne bottle which fitted fine if snugly).

Simple and sturdy
There are so many wine racks which need self assembly. Why bother when this comes complete and ready to go. I just took it out of the box and stood it against the wall and filled it with wine bottles. It seems well made and sturdy and comes with drilled holes so that you can fix it to the wall so that it can not fall over.

Nice object!
Bought the wine rack which arrived badly damaged due to the size of the box it came in, absolutely enormous, hence the damage, however the problem was resolved immediately and I am happy to say that the wine rack looks lovely. I purchased a wooden plinth to stand it on in the same colour and it looks even better. Glad I bought it.

Craville Wine Racks
After reading others struggle with self-assembly versions it was great to be able to purchase a fully assembled wine rack! Not only does the product appear solid, it is now fully loaded and apprears stable. So, unless you are particularly handy with a mallet, I recommend you consider the pre-assembled, Cranville Wine Rack!

I've just bought another one
This is a very good "out-of-the-box" wine rack. It's big selling point is no assembly. It's of good quality construction and certainly strong enough for the job intended. However, the space per bottle is a little restricted hence 4 rather than 5 stars. But that hasn't put me off and I've just bought another.
