Rock solid even at motorway speeds—worth it if you’re always on the move
Bought this for our camper van setup to hold the Starlink Mini in place while we’re on the road or parked up in windy spots. Gotta say—I was a bit skeptical at first about the magnetic hold, but this thing is seriously strong. No wobble, no sliding, even when we hit 70+ mph on the motorway.Installation was super simple—literally just set it on the roof and you're good to go. Took me like 30 seconds. I like that it's made of plastic and not metal too—doesn’t mess with the signal at all (we’ve tested that properly at a few sites now). Signal stays strong, even in rough weather. We’ve also used it on our boat and it held just as steady—those magnets mean business. Only thing I’d mention is it will mark the surface if there’s dirt or grit under it, so give the area a quick wipe first.Bit pricey at £64.98, but honestly worth every penny if you're a regular traveler and want reliable signal + hassle-free setup. Would 100% recommend for vans, RVs, boats—whatever you’ve got with a metal roof!

Strong suction magnetic
The Starlink mini magnetic is a practical and reliable solution for mounting Starlink antennas on car windows and sunroofs. Thanks to the strong suction cups, the holder can be securely and easily attached to various surfaces without causing damage. This makes them ideal for use in motorhomes, boats, or while traveling. The mount provides a stable satellite signal, which is essential for an uninterrupted Internet connection on the go. The simple installation makes it possible to assemble the device quickly and without much effort, so that you can immediately access the Internet. Thanks to its universal compatibility, the Starlink mini mount is a versatile and practical choice for anyone who travels a lot and needs a stable Internet connection. Overall, the mount impresses with its reliability and practical handling.

Does the job fine...
Very strong magnets on this mount (exactly what's needed of course).I've got the exact same system on a couple of other vehicle mounts (6 individual magnets arranged in a circle on each foot/pad), and the mounts have never moved... or caused damage to the paintwork.Expensive (especially at full price) IMO, but this Starlink gear generally is unfortunately. On a quality/value-for-money basis.... 4-Stars.

Strong magnets
The first thing we noticed about this was the good quality. At a higher price we’d have hoped it would be well made and it is.The magnets are really strong. I can’t say we have a way to measure the exact amount but it’s safe to say that once it’s on there’s no easy way to move it. The magnets are covers so it won’t scratch any paint. And that’s good as sliding it off is much easier. The design is spot on and works well. We can understand the high price as it’s a niche product and has to be well made. Overall it’s a good choice if you need it.

Fab device, works as described and expected
Very simple in principle, practical and does exactly what it should. Strong magnetic adhesion, good build quality and a good combo of form and function. I'm able to mount my starlink to my van's hood very easily and give this is magnetic, can move it around - the fact you don't have to faff around with drilling holes and creating a permanent mounting is amazing!

Strong magnetic hold with protective feet, but design traps dirt and price feels high.
📡 The kit includes the plastic base, four silicone-covered magnetic feet, mounting screws, and a hex key for assembly. Everything was present and straightforward to put together. The feet fit securely into the plastic base, and I had no issues getting the whole assembly ready for use. The mount is made from ABS plastic, which feels reasonably solid in the hand — it’s impact resistant and typically stable in a wide range of temperatures, so should be fine in most weather. I do think the design could be improved slightly — if the plastic crevices had been moulded on the underside instead of facing up, it would help avoid water and road spray collecting in the recesses.🧲 The magnetic feet themselves seem well thought out. They’re not just one big magnet per foot — I could clearly see that each foot has a number of smaller magnets embedded into the surface, all encased in a protective rubber-like silicone coating. This coating helps avoid scratching your vehicle, and I like that it gives a small amount of surface flexibility while keeping the structure rigid overall. It does mean, however, that the magnets are slightly raised off the metal surface, which does reduce their holding power to a degree. That said, the grip is very strong. The manufacturer claims a combined pull force of up to 220 lbs, and while I can’t measure that exactly, I can confirm that it’s very difficult to remove the mount directly once it’s on steel. I found it much easier to slide the Starlink Mini off the mount first before trying to lift the mount away — pulling it directly risks damaging your vehicle’s paintwork.📡 From a user perspective, it’s worth noting that magnet strength drops off very quickly with distance — it follows an inverse cube law — so even a small gap makes a big difference. I don’t know the grade of the magnets used here (possibly between N35 and N52), but they seem sufficient. It's important to understand that the mount only works on ferrous metal — so the marketing claim that it will attach to "any metal surface" isn’t correct. It will not grip to aluminium or composite panels, which are increasingly common on caravans and RVs.🧲 The manufacturer shows the mount used on angled roofs in some images, but in my view that’s a bit misleading. The Starlink Mini is sensitive to alignment and even slight changes in level can affect performance. The angle shown in those pictures looks quite unrealistic for proper satellite lock. In my testing it was difficult to get a good alignment and I only achieved a 50 meg connection. If one set of screws could be fed in through the feet and were longer then some alignment could be dialled in for the installation using bolts. This is perhaps an adaption I might do myself. While considering the mounting screws, the feet are not nylon locking and I worry about them coming loose when attempting a more permanent installation.📡 In terms of reliability, I’d recommend trying the mount alone on your vehicle roof before installing the dish, especially if you plan to drive with it in place. This way you can check that the mount stays in position under vibration and wind load. I did just that and was satisfied that it didn’t move, although I wouldn’t drive with the actual dish fitted unless absolutely necessary. Perhaps once I get more confident.🧲 As for value, I think the price — nearly £65 — is on the high side for what is essentially a single moulded piece of plastic and four magnetic feet. However, given the niche use case and limited availability of alternatives tailored specifically to the Starlink Mini, I can see why someone might decide it’s worth it. For me, the solid fit and strong magnetic hold go a long way towards justifying the cost, though I would like to see a few refinements to the design. ✔️
