WARNING!
Owning these practice nunchaku will not INSTANTLY give you Bruce Lee powers. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ASSAULT THE HIDE-OUT OF YOUR SWORN NINJA ENEMIES after only practicing with these nunchaku once. Practice AT LEAST four times. THEN go after your rival martial-artists. Always make sure to focus your chi, make lots of unnecessary rooster noises, do lots of impractical but visually spectacular moves in the air before you close in to fight, and move your mouth out of sync with what you say.

Great practice chucks
Good deal for 2 practice chucks. They don't hurt at all if you mess up. One thing i would change is to add just a bit more weight to each one individually. They are extremely light and tend to want to fly out of my hand when i am doing wrist rolls fast and consecutively. Thats why i give 4 stars instead of 5. (One more thing) I also really like the bearungs on these. They're very quiet.

Great!
My husband loves these. He's been practicing with some metal ones that have been a little too short. These have a longer chain in the middle and have a soft foam around them. Definitely recommend.

Great Option for Karate Class
I purchased these for my 9 year old to use during his karate class. They were a little long, so we just shortened them with a saw. They have worked well since and it is great to also have a back-up pair. Will buy again when needed.

Pretty Dang Good!
I was originally annoyed that these had a slow shipping time... then they didn't arrive... then they were lost, etc. However, they did finally arrive and the problem seems to be the shipper USPS and not the vendor. These are decent quality and a good weight for the money. I had some when I was a teenager that were wood. I kept bashing myself when practicing, so I figured since I haven't played with them in a long while, I'd get some that were rubber to practice. For an adult, the chain lengths seem about right to me. They seem to be of decent quality, and the metal chains and swivels work well. They aren't as heavy as solid wood ones, but they're close enough for practicing. I'm enjoying them so far.Recommended!

Very good!
They work very well, I used to use these back and the day so I know how they should work. They were actually for my young son and not for me. The center is solid surrounded by foam. I was expecting it to be mostly foam for some reason, but I guess it wouldn't have worked so well. Very good for a 9-18 year old child. I had no problem doing my usual tricks with these before giving them to my son. I recommend them!

Very Good Value
I bought these to replace a set I bought about 20 years ago.I gave them away ten years ago when I moved to New York State because nunchaku were illegal here, and I was not confident that even foam nunchaku would be legal.Due to a recent lawsuit (Maloney vs Singas), nunchaku are now legal in New York, so I decided to buy another set. When I saw this deal for two pairs for around $16, I jumped on it.These nunchaku are absolutely identical in design to my old one, right down to the dragon design on the sticks. There has, however, been a notable decline in quality over the 20 years since I last bought one.The plastic sticks themselves, the plastic end caps and the foam padding are identical in every way to my old one, but the metal hardware is lower quality. The chain and swivel set on my old one was identical to those on my wooden nunchaku, whereas these new ones look and feel cheaper and less heavily built. The chain is made of thinner gauge steel, the bearings do not spin as freely, and the plated finish is not as nice.On my old nunchaku, the swivels were attached to the sticks by a single long rivet, which was nicely domed and plated to match the rest of the hardware. The rivets on these new ones are simple pop rivets, one on each side of the swivel. These don't look anywhere near as nice, and stick out a bit. From reading all of the above, you may be under the impression that I am not pleased with my purchase.Nothing could be further from the truth. My old set was made a bit nicer, but the differences are mostly cosmetic.According to an inflation calculator, my single nunchaku cost the equivalent of $25 in today's money.Getting two nunchaku for $16 is therefore a fantastic bargain, despite them not being quite as nicely made. They may not look and feel quite as nice as my old set, but they are still perfectly serviceable. There is nothing about the design changes that makes me believe they are going to fall apart or anything like that - the build quality is perfectly adequate for foam nunchaku. With that said, I thoroughly recommend these foam nunchaku to anyone looking for a safe way to practice. One thing to note (and this applies to all foam nunchaku of this design) these nunchaku are NOT designed to be used for striking.Hitting a hard object will cause the thin plastic inner stick to shatter.
