Not suitable for large engines or BMW
The unit was charged until ready for use, unfortunately it was purchased for use with a BMW 2.5 litre engine and it did not work due to the cambus system, with this system remote connection is done under the bonnet at a designated place, unfortunately there is not enough power with this unit to start a large engine car with a flat battery it is better to remove battery and then restart the car when the battery is charged.

Excellent backup
I used this for the first time to start my scooter when the battery failed.I have to say it was excellent and hardly discharged at all when done.Not sure I would try this on too large a battery but I would recommend this for motor cycles and scooters.It is very compact too so will store nicely on the bike itself...Recommended item

Lifesaver!
My car battery kept dying, and this was perfect to jump start it every time. So quick to charge back up too, was a literal life saver when my the battery died in a remote location

Small, but very powerful gadget.
This booster battery has jump started my ride on lawn mower twice and charged my phone and hasn’t needed charging yet.I haven’t tried it on a heavier battery yet as I have had no need. Hopefully I won’t need to, but will keep it in the van just incase. It is certainly more than good enough for what I want it for.

Ideal, better than a battery charger so much more convenient.

Strong charge that does not fade over weeks
I had to use this 3 times in 1 week due to a failing battery. Each time it worked perfectly, jumping the car immediately. Even weeks later it's still showing 4/5 charge left.Easy to attach and good packaging meaning you can store it easily in the glove box

An Amended Review ( Original Item Replaced).
Previous experience was not good (faulty power button?) but prompt replacement is excellent and works perfectly. It charges my phone, acts as a 3 function flashlight, and although not needed to yet, I have complete faith it will start my car if the battery goes flat. Excellent value for money & recommended.
