Do the hand controls on the bars still work

Yes, they do. Great stereo, with all the controls.... It's not a cheap stereo, but it sounds great on my bike. I went back and forth whether I wanted to spend the extra money, but after trying different radios, I decided to go for it. Worth the money if the music is a part of your ride.

Will an Arc Amp work with this radio

I’m not sure of the specific amp I’m running, but it works great. I run the stereo through the amp, then to both sets of speakers (front/rear).
