While a simple "solenoid" suffices, this unit exhibits superior build quality compared to previous models from other manufacturers.

Easiest repair ever!!!
Was having problems with water leakage by my valves and the water flow to the sprinklers was best if my existing solenoid was loose. This caused water leaking as well. Some valves seemed to buzz as well. After researching YouTube to troubleshoot, I decided to buy 1 solenoid. It completely solved all the problems. Bought a 2nd one and woolaaa, 2nd valve was working perfectly. Bought 2 MORE for my remaining zones and everything is working perfectly. And costed much less than if I went to the major box hardware store. Super easy to install and rewire. My sprinklers were installed 15 yrs ago...so I guess it was time. VERY SATISFIED!!!

Quality product and shipped next day. Hard to believe this could be done for this cost.
I paid over 2 times as much for the exact solenoid at my local hardware store and it was the last one in stock. Willing to bet the replacement when it is back in stock will be MORE $$$ The hardest part was removing the old solenoid and for the record it had the metal spring loaded tip that some reviewers said thissolenoid would not fit. My example solenoid replaced it without issue, I have lived at this residence for nearly 40 yrs and had the sprinkler system installed shortly after move in. For the record the solenoid I received was model#57041 Orbit branded. I ordered another one for stock and I have used this solenoid before and so far they have held up just fine.

perfect fit for my sprinkle system
it was buzzing so I replaced it with one from lowes , just to get another bad part for 10.28 then ordered it on amazon came the next day for less and it works . way to go .I seen on line later that big box stores get lots of bad parts , the buzzing stopped after I installed the new one . thanks

Does not work with WaterMaster valve.
Does now work to replace WaterMaster solenoid. Sprinkler system will not turn off with this installed. This says it is a replacement for WaterMaster but does not work in my case. I did extensive research and this was recommended on every search site but it does not work at all. Plunger does not go down far enough.
