Belle House Women's Gradient Color Chiffon Formal Evening Dress Long Prom Gown

I ordered this dress exactly two weeks before a wedding, and even paid extra for express shipping. I even emailed the seller to see if it were possible to get it in time for the wedding and they replied within hours to confirm!I decided to send in my measurements to make sure the dress fit the way I needed so I wouldn't have to make any big alterations before the wedding- after all, it's no additional charge!A week goes by, and I realize there's no progress being posted on the dress, so I contact the seller again. It seems my request for an early delivery was slipped through the cracks, but they guaranteed the dress would arrive the day before the wedding... In fact, it actually came a day early! I do have to note that the delivery needed a signature, so if you're not expecting to be home for delivery, look into arranging an alternative delivery with the delivery service.When I first tried on the dress, it fit perfectly, however, some reasons why I ended up ultimately altering the dress: the v-neck ended up sitting a little too high on my chest, and although the lining of the skirt was the perfect length, the chiffon overlay was about 3 inches too long (typically the overlay is supposed to be longer than the lining) and the sleeveless straps fell awkwardly on my shoulders.In the end, I altered the neckline of my dress and made the straps into off the shoulder style and I hemmed the dress to just about match the inner lining.At the wedding, I got tons of compliments! Other than the alterations I made, I love this dress and the photo is just what you see, if not even more beautiful. I do want to note that due to the way the fabric is dyed (I'm taking am educated guess), if the chiffon of the dress pulls, you'll end up with "splotches" of white in your skirt (displacement of dyed threads??) but for the most part they're not too distracting/noticeable.5 starts for an excellent product and excellent customer service!

Amazing dress! My daughter wore it to prom and got a lot of compliments. It was too long so we had to hem it. Also we decided to add sleeves to make it more modest for religious reasons, but it looked great even before we added them.

This dress is very well made. However, I loved the stock pictures and when I got it, it's not as narrow as in the picture. I ordered a size 2 and the straps are wider than I expected. Also is washes out my waist for some reason. I am 5'9" and with 2" heels the dress was off the ground. So the length is great.I only wish the straps and waist was smaller.Update: Really liked the dress, so I took it to a seamstress to narrow the top.She took off about an inch from each strap.It fits a lot better now!

I was pretty apprehensive about ordering a dress through Amazon just because of my extremely curvy proportions, but I figured the corset bodice would maybe be a little forgiving. I was amazed that the dress arrived within the week, but I was pretty disappointed when a) it was too tight across the chest and shoulders and b) there were very noticeable dye imperfections near the top of the skirt.However, I contacted the seller for a return and they could NOT have been more helpful! Belle offered to ship the next size up ASAP (I needed the dress for an event the following week) and walked me through the return. I had to pay the return shipping (about $10), but I received the new properly-sized and flawless dress only two days later! And it's a perfect fit! What's more, the customer service from beginning to end during the return was attentive, helpful, and accommodating. And naturally, the dress is lovely. I would absolutely recommend!

I am 5'4 and this dress is extremely long- even with 4.5 inch heels the dress still drags on the ground.Great buy without alterations if you're about 6 foot tall. The material is sturdy and it feels as if it will hold up for a long time. Being a large chested woman, this is one of the first dresses I have EVER owned where I have felt confident not wearing a bra. the dress has some built in boob shaping so you have to manipulate a bit to make them look okay. The dress is not revealing as most other v neck dresses are at my size, covers bra straps, and is overall very pretty and fashionable. I purchased this for a vocal recital, so professional conservativeness was important to me. My only complaint is in the coloring at the bottom. It's beautiful, but there are some spots on my dress where the dye didn't take, leaving some white eyesores on the dress. I was far away from the audience for the most part so this wasn't an issue but for normal social occasions I would have had to return the dress. That is the reason I docked a star.

Received this dress EARLY. That was super nice. The dress came packaged inside out and the seam under the corset at the back was torn by... maybe half an inch. The shoulders dont sit right at the back. It kind of... hoops out. Its a design flaw. My husband could pull the back in a certain wait to make it flatten out but otherwise during wear it will bow out. Length is great. I'm 5'11. Im wearing this to a military ball, and it looks decent from the front but the back pleats are very spaced. Not as flowy at the back. Definitley couldnt wear with heels. (Im size 22)

Purchased to wear to a wedding, and I ordered one size larger than I generally wear based on the size chart. However when it arrived it was unreasonably tight and the position of the waistline made it look awkward on me.Also, this dress is definitely made for tall people, or for pairing with high heels. I’m 5’2” and I would have to have this hemmed in order to wear it in public.Due to it being ill-fitting there was no way I could wear it so I had to return it. I gave it 2 stars because I thought the unique color of the dress and the craftsmanship was better than most other dresses I’ve purchased online, however it wasn’t made for my body type and would require too many alterations to be worth wearing.
