Loving it so far!
Over the past few years I have purchased a number of the normal FireTVs for some of our bedrooms and my older sons heading off to college. They have performed quite well, possibly amazing, for the price. In our living room we have an expensive large OLED that has truly been great but as noted was quite expensive. While I work from home, I work a lot, even on the weekends at times so I have been looking for something to put in my office. While as basic TV would have worked just fine I have gotten a little spoiled with the OLED. However I just didn't need to spend that kind of money for a secondary TV. As the office is also used to gaming on the weekends, I did want something with at least 120 Hrz refresh that would work with consoles. After doing some research I thought I had a decision back around Thanksgiving then I notice the new FireTV Omni Mini-LED. The list price was a little higher than I wanted but I couldn't find any reviews so I waited. However with looming price increases on the horizon decided to make a decision now.Even though the some of the review noted issues, it's known than more people leave reviews if they have issues than if they are happy, I decided to take a chance is get the Amazon Fire TV 55" Omni Mini-LED Series and I couldn't be happier. The menus, after the updates, is quite fast. The FireTV interface is very easy to use and has all the apps I need. While I haven't tested with a console yet, sports in 4K look amazing and you can definitely tell a difference between the 60Hrz and 120 Hrz, the sound is excellent and the picture is simply stunning! Is the sound as good an expensive sound bar or home theater system, no, but it's better than almost any TV I have heard in years. Is the picture as good as my OLED that cost 5x as much? No but it's pretty darn close.Connectivity to WiFi has been excellent and I'm running about 500 Mbps on a gig connection over an Eero Max 7 system. Those are both Amazon products so I expected them to work well together and they do.While most weekend nights it may just be streaming Twitch or watching sports during the day it's been nice to have the news on in the background this week and I've watched a couple of movies while working in the evenings.Overall, especially considering I got it on sale, I've very pleased with my purchase and price. Truly it is exactly what I was looking for in this case. While noted it may not be as great as the TV costing 5 times as much... considering the picture vs cost if this had been out a couple of years ago I would easily saved $1500 vs what I got our primary OLED for and purchased the larger version of this. To me there is a point of diminishing returns, I don't need perfection on color accuracy or black level, just close enough with the right features.Fantastic television, especially if you can pick it up with at least a little discount!

What a treat!
I've had the same tv since 2012. 2012! I didn't realize that tvs have upgraded this much. I decide to treat myself and I recently obtained this amazing tv. Wow! What a visually stunning, amazing quality improvement.I love the sound, although some music on their sounds a bit off but I'm still working through the settings to figure out if that's on me or the tv.I'm very content with the size I selected 55 inch. It fits my tv stand and the living room space.Having a smart tv is fun and makes so many features like sounds adjustment, turning the tv off, switching channels and selecting HDMI ports for my consoles so much easier. My only problem is the remote feeling a little too flimsy in my hand. But other than that, I'm very content with this so far!

Incredible visuals, awesome features for movies and games at a reasonable price
Prior to this I owned a pretty basic Sharp 50" 4k Roku TV that I bought in 2018. It has served me well for over 6 years at this point, but recently it became pretty evident to me that I was missing out on a lot of new and cool features that newer TV's had.I'm not wealthy. I don't have the luxury of being able to spend thousands of dollars on a huge OLED tv, though that is a personal goal of mine. I am VERY INVESTED in personal entertainment though. I spend a sizeable amount of my income on high-end electronic hobbies like video games and the home theater experience. When I play on my Series X or watch a 4k bluray, I want to feel like I'm getting everything out of the experience. This TV is perfect for this goal, at a VERY reasonable price. This TV supports HDR, VRR, Dolby Vision and Atmos, 144 hz gaming, and a ton of other high end features that complement the current state of gaming and home cinema. I've had this TV for a couple of days and I've seen parts of some movies and played quite a few videogames on it, and it has been like a night and day experience when compared to my old Sharp 4k TV.I played a little bit of Resident Evil 2 remake and was astounded at the sound and the visuals. Walking around with the flashlight in a pitch dark room felt palpably scary. Hearing all the creaks and groans around me with an actual discernible spatial quality was terrific and terrifying.I got this TV with the Fire TV Soundbar Plus and it has been a truly wonderful experience using these products together. Set up is ridiculously easy, and it feels like these products were designed with the other in mind. The height of the TV allows for the soundbar to comfortably sit beneath it.All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. It feels like a proper upgrade from my old TV.

turns off by itself 10 mins Terrible remote control. alexa sucks
stop turning off my tv after 10 mins, for god sake. worst tv ever beacuse your damn settings cant be changed and Why is alexa in control of my tv. I hate this thing and will never buy any amazon crap againWorst settings control on any tv. Turns off before with no control of a sleep timer unless is the wprthless alexa acam. Pic is ok but crappy response always loses internet when it shuts itself off. 1 out of 100. 1 stars cause the remote is useless. Dumb voice remote half the buttons do not work. Home being the worst at never functioning. Im forced to turn the tv off to get out of an app. Tv picture and other settings are all fine.
