Refurbished works good as new
I've had the non-refurb model for a few years and wanted another for a 2nd location. The price discount was significant and the tool is just like new.

Indestructible Quality
I've been using these little yellow tools for about 30 years. My first DeWalt cordless drill got dropped onto a concrete driveway from a 12' ladder more than once. They just keep getting smaller and more powerful every upgrade. I have handed down my 18 volt kit to a friend now that I am getting older and they are still going strong. My 20 year old 12 volt drill motors still work great (except I've let the batteries die.)

Worth the price
Works like new, no issues with drilling or screwing minus the chuck works it’s way loose fairly quickly. Not an issue, but more of an annoyance.

Sweet deal on a new tool that works!
30 years as a carpenter- got this baby for $50 and am totally satisfied. My old 18v XRP drill finally died after 15 years of abuse. This is a nice lightweight alternative if you dont need the hammerdrill.

Significant Improvements
My old 18v DeWalt hammer drill finally broke its transmission after 20+ years of service. It died under mysterious circumstances while my 12 and 10 year old boys were "using" it to build a crossbow. In full disclosure, that drill had burned brushes right from the beginning and I never bothered to send it in for warranty work. Probably could have lasted a lifetime with better care.Enter this unit, which is a vastly superior replacement. It's about half the size/weight as the original and feels like it has more torque and speed. The LED work light and belt clip are nice additions. Although I do miss the bit holders. Another big improvement is the price. I bought this refurbished but it cost about 1/3 the price in 2019 dollars. In other words, it's probably 1/6th the price of the original.

A bad product not worth a dollar
Two days after I bought the product I realized that it was not correct but thought it might just be new. I was wrong. After a few minutes of work, the product warms up and stops working and when it returns to work it works very weakly without the power to drill even wood. A non-quality product that is not worth the money

It's a good used drill
You'll have to purchase a battery charger and battery which will be expensive...but it is what it is....a good used drill
