Barebones | Cast Iron Kit - 10 Inch Skillet & Crock Pot with Lid, Trivet, Cleaning Mesh

Heat transfer is excellent, and transfer from stovetop to oven (with lid) is very functional. 10-inch size suits all our home needs, and the nesting is a real space saver.Over thirty years I've gone through at least two century-old pure cast iron Dutch ovens, which eventually crack. This modern approach adds some steel alloy, which seems to lighten it and toughen it, and improve heat transfer. I would appreciate a little more sanding of the bottom at the foundry, but that's not a deal breaker. Overall, a nice set.
