The heat shrink tubes are of varying diameters and colours and come in a convenient clear plastic container which made selection easy. I used a domestic hair dryer to do the shrinking and that seemed to work very well. My only disappointment was the fixed cut lengths seemed a little short, ranging from 37mm for the smaller bores up to 45mm. Those lengths would probably be sufficient for the vast majority of jobs though and the convenience factor of having them ready in their container outweighs all else. It's a neat piece of kit.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this to cover cables that I joined together and to cover exposed metal wires on damage cables.Works as expected. The variety of sizes and color will ensure you will have the right tube for the job.To repair iphone charging cable you need 3:1 ratio. Or wrap the cable with electric tape to increase thickness to roughly the same diameter as the plug, then use the 2:1 heat shrink. You can use a lighter, wrap it in foil to protect it from burning.

Perfect, I use this stuff frequently for hobby electronics and automotive repairs, this tubing is quick and easy to use, it shrinks rapidly and smoothly. It's much easier to find the correct size with the organiser tray than my usual multiple single size packets.I'd recommend this if you want a hassle free experience.

The kit consists of lots of pieces but the majority are far too narrow in diameter to be of any practical use. I suppose they may be OK for someone soldering very thin wires for electronics but there are not many of a size practical for most types of wiring jobs about 2 - 3mm which you may find in car or household electrics.
