Sucralose & Erythritol Granular 1Lb from Natural Mate 5-PK

Splenda is a 1 for 1 substitute for sugar so it contains more fillers. Nature Mate sulcralose is a 1/2 to 1 substitute for sugar so it contains twice the sweetener (Sucralose) as Splenda in each ounce. This means you get more of what you pay for. Also, it takes 3.3 bags of Splenda to equal 1 bag the Nature Mate, so Nature Mate is much less expensive than Splenda and still cheaper than the store brands. Only, you must remember to use 1/2 the amount of Nature Mate as you would of sugar or Splenda which I don't consider a problem when I consider the savings.

I'm very impressed with this sweetener because it is about twice the "strength" of sugar, so you don't need to use as much of it in recipes, and because it tastes great. I've tried alot of sweeteners from munkfruit to stevia, etc, etc, and they all had some form of aftertaste that wasn't pleasant. This one simply doesn't. I assume it is because of the use of Sucralose. By the way, Splenda also uses Sucralose, and we were fine with the overall taste of Splenda, but then I learned that the main ingredient in a bag of Splenda is maltodextrin, which is definitely not Keto or low-carb friendly. So, I literally threw away our bag of Splenda and started trying out different sugar-substitutes.The bottom line is: the sweeteners from Natural Mate and Swerve are the only two products worth using, because they taste like sugar, and they don't have any weird aftertaste. Moreover, Natural Mate costs less than Swerve, (and is twice as sweet as sugar, as opposed to Swerve which is a 1:1 ratio with sugar) so, the choice is obvious...

As a 20 year consumer of regular splenda I wanted a sweetener with absolutely zero carbs (brand name splenda is not zero carb). So I tried this and I like it better as a coffee sweetener than any other product. Erythritol isn't sweet enough by itself and pure sucralose has an off-putting flavor. Combining these 2 products is perfect. Also because sucralose is very sweet the total weight and volume of this product is better than pure Erythritol.

It’s the best sugar alternative I’ve ever tasted. Great for cooking as well as with tea/coffee. My husband and I are totally sold. It’s the only source of sweetness in our household now. There’s zero after-taste. Maybe because of the sucralose-erythritol blend. Love it!

I purchased this not realizing it was a mix of Sucralose and Erythritol. After reading about Erythritol, it seems like a very safe sweetener. I am a big fan of it, and it is a good tasting alternative. We discovered that it doesn't sit well with my wife - she suffered from uncomfortable gas (which is a possible side-effect) but its fine for me. Its just something to be aware of.

This behaves better than Erythritol alone - It has the consistency of Erythritol (granular) with the added sweetness of sucralose, making it as good as regular sugar.To be clear - this is not pure sucralose, it's mainly erythritol with sucralose so it's only twice as sweet as sugar.

Not as sweet as the sucralose I used to get from the store, but I think I needed that anyway. I use it for my coffee every morning and I don't have to use as much as I used to. No weird flavor either.

So happy to have finally found a sweetener that does not have an icky aftertaste! No one in my family can tell the difference between this and real sugar. Pricey, but I'd rather buy this than Splenda. No contest.
