Are these onions grown in the strawberry fields with the strawberries?

Nope they are grown in Valdalia, Georgia which is a little over 3 hours South of Atlanta and 1.5 hours North of Savannah. The Soil is pretty much the same in the Southeastern States (rich black soil, Clay red, and a mix of sand), but it’s rich in natural minerals and the waters from the Atlantic, big rivers and lakes plus underground water makes them taste amazing. We have a lot of underground natural springs that requires no filtering to drink from them. All the fruits and vegetables taste amazing and naturally sweet without chemicals and pesticides. But you will only find one vegetable growing in the fields during a certain season. Some on off season a fruit can be temporarily planted in that same plot of land.

How does Amazon have vidalia onions when they are out of season?

Georgia Agriculture can tell you when they predict harvest, usually in spring but they keep for a very long time in a cool dry place. I put them inside the leg of a nylon hosiery and tie knots in between each, hang in a cool, dry place and have kept them for six to eight months or more!
