Can’t live without it (and 100% not fake)
Don’t be discouraged by the negative reviews, they probably changed their packaging at some point in 2020. This is 100% the real thing, as you can see from the pic (left is superdrug, right is amazon). It also has a really distinctive smell, so you can easily tell it’s the same.As for the product itself, you don’t need fancy ointments to heal your tattoo, but if you’re gonna buy one thing make sure it’s this. I’ve tried every single soap recommended on those Top-10 lists you find on google. Most of them will do a good job not irritating the skin, but this product actually reduces the healing period considerably. I tried it on my last two tattoos, one of which a huge leg piece, and it reduced the swelling, barely even noticed the peeling. I normally use this 2-3 times a day for 2-3 weeks with Bepanthol Tattoo (or cocoa butter after the first few days, but cocoa butter leaves stains on all my clothes). I don’t like using any of the other Tattoo Goo products during that initial healing period (they’re not bad just not amazing), so I’m grateful it’s sold individually. The soap has become such a necessity for me. At one point I got a nasty fungal infection, and my non-perfumed, micellar (blah blah) body wash was making it worse. I started using this product to clean the area and I saw a huge improvement. I’m so in love with this thing.

DON’T HESITATE! BUY IT!
After doing a TON of research for the best things to get for my tattoos hygiene and healing, I took a punt on this product and boy, I was NOT disappointed. This cleaning solution works wonderfully. It’s thick, it’s soft and rubs over the tattoo smoothely which is perfect because I know that it is not only cleaning it, but also not damaging the ink work neither.I’d recommend this in a heart beat. I’ve now purchased 3x of these and I love them! One tip, a small amount does go a LONG way so don’t over do it! But I would recommend this as your go to! My tattoo has healed beautifully! Even my artistwas impressed!

Doesn’t lather - but boy, does it work
This stuff is superb! It was for my first tattoo and did a lot of research - really glad to have found this, it helped quicken up the healing! Had my tattoo Saturday, wrapped overnight, next day did 2-3 washes a with this, then air dried for an hour. Washed hands thoroughly first, and rubbed it between my hands to get a slight lather. Did this for first week. The consistency is light, a bit like lube, and it doesn’t really lather up very much. It was also a little tricky to completely wash away without scrubbing at the tattoo. But fast forward 6 days and my tattoo is already most of the way through the peeling stage! This stuff is great. Used it with Hustle Butter. Thoroughly recommend both.PROS:Sped up recoveryNo overpowering smellTattoo healing beautifullyCONSQuite liquidyDoesn’t lather5* because it works!

Doesn't dry skin out too much
Got a palm-sized tattoo 10 days ago on my arm and have been using this 4-5 times a day along with the salve and it has worked fantastically. It has kept it clean and I haven't experienced any large scabs, itching, and hardly any flaking (it has been very small and not at all noticeable unless looking closely). One day I forgot the soap at home and had to use normal Carex that was available at work and my skin was considerably dryer that day so it was a good comparison and I'm glad I chose to use this product - would happily recommend. It smells somewhat medicinal which might be off-putting for some but I quite like it and think it smells 'clean'.

Go to product for spots!
This product is excellent. I had never heard of it and it was recommended by a friend when I had broken out in lots of ugly spots. I didn't really believe her but I was willing to try anything. I did what I was told and dabbed in onto the spots throughout the day and the next day.... bam! My spots had dried up to nothing! My friend uses this product for everything... apparently even using it to get rid of a stain.Well, it's a staple in my house now! A true wonder product. And so cheap too!!

Good stuff but nothing special and comically small and overpriced
lovely clean medicated antimicrobial soap ,didnt dry out my tattoo even with a lot of washes per day like dial did ...however for what you get the price is scandalous there is nothing magic or special about it ,a large bottle should be a couple of quid max then id continue to use it ...this bottle is almost comically tiny especially for £7honestly just use dove hypo allergenic soap for keeping your fresh tattoo clean instead (99p for2) it works just the same and lasts for ages not a few days

Nice! Doing well so far.
So glad I found this.I wanted a good anti bacterial wash for my new eye brow piercing. Thanks to the good reviews I decided to try this.I know the tattoo goo brand as I've used the original goo for my tattoos quite a few years back.It is doing the job well so far. It's easy to use and lathers up well (make sure you have some water in your hands as well as the soap to get a good lather :) ).One thing to keep in mind is that the soap does run out of the tube very easily so be careful not too lose too much. The other minor gripe is it is only a small bottle/tube. It'd have been great if they was more. But anyway, I'll defo be buying more!UPDATE!I forgot to mention that this works fab with tattoo cleaning as well :) My skin never reacts badly.Have used it for a long time and will continue to do so.

My favourite!
I've used this soap within a kit, but also purchased extra on its own because it's so good.It stings the first few times you use it but that's not a problem for me - shows it's working! It takes a while to lather up, but I would suggest wetting your hands first and really rubbing it together. For tattoos, I use this along with the tattoo goo lotion, but my partner uses this with Palmer's coco butter. Either way, we've agreed it's the best soap in our opinions and I've also used it on new piercings. We will no doubt continue to buy this when we need it.
