Alfamo Cooling Towel for Sports, Workout, Fitness, Gym, Yoga, Pilates, Travel, Camping & More

Men sweat; women glow. Well my "glow" rolls down my back and puddles in my sweat socks, so cooling products matter to me. I live all the way south and all the way east in North Carolina. The daily weather forecast here in the summer is 90+ degrees, 95% humidity, with a chance of thunderstorms. We walk early in the morning and my husband comes home a bit damp but still clean enough to go to Walmart without taking a shower. When I get home my kneecaps are sweating and I look like I took a run through the sprinklers. My only other experience with cooling products is a chamois-like triangular scarf by Cool Togs. It is clammy rather than cool and dries stiff as a board. I thought I would try this towel instead and have been pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness. It is long enough to drape across my shoulders, leaving the ends convenient for dabbing my "glow." It does seem to cool me off some but probably any cool cloth would. The fact that it stays soft and absorbent during use is its best feature and makes its use pleasant, which cannot be said of the Cool Togs, which sell for twice the price. I waited to review this item until I had used it a dozen times or so and my opinion of it has not changed. I come home from my walk, throw it in the bottom of the shower to wash it, hang it up to drip dry, and it is ready for the next walk. I have also washed it several times in the washing machine and so far it remains fresh and free of those odors so endemic to athletic wear. This product is a winner.

Very soft and compact. Perfect length. I ran it under water, squeezed out the excess, and my dog jumped onto my lap and layed on his back, so I put it on him. Dude fell asleep without moving for about an hour. I don't think I've seen him sleep that well all summer.

I bought the medium size. I wasnt crazy about it dangling so long on my chest and thought I should go small. NOPE! I took that bad boy and wrapped it losely on my neck and tucked it in the back. Relief for my back too! Perfect for my 8 yr old as well. Cools very fast and the fabric is soft. Doesnt take as long to soak as other towels I've used. And dripping on my shirt is minimal. Overall I a great purchase for summer.

Lightweight and airy. It stayed cool for 5 hours before I had to add water again. Helped with my hot flashes too (just wore it like a scarf all day and it seemed to reduce the intensity of the hot flashes). Love it!

We bought a gray and a pink one for our Disney trip at the end of July when it is at its hottest. I was worried about the kids and how they would fare in the heat. These cooling towels were a lifesaver! Let's be real, young kids and the heat do not mix well. Cranky children are bound to happen but as soon as I wet the towels with some water and place it around their necks, they immediately go "ahhh! That feels so good!" My husband has used it quite a bit as well. It dries very quickly. I would tie it to my fanny pack and it would dry. If I needed it, it was right there ready to be untied and used. Get it! I got the small one and it was big enough for my husband and my children to drape it around their necks. And please, MAKE SURE you do wash it beforehand. The color does bleed and once you wash it, you are golden. The picture is of my 6 year old using it around his neck.

I have purchased different variations of this type of towel and honestly I've never been very impressed. They are usually too narrow or they feel a little "weird" to me. I have been looking for a sports towel for my son who plays football and basketball 10 months out of the year as well as one for myself for gym use and use at his practices and games in the 90 plus degree weather we've had.We have attempted different size and different style towels and he's never been happy and has always just used a shirt. when I initially ordered this towel for myself because I pretty much gave up on finding one for him since he's been so "picky". Personally I just like the light weight the and fact that it dries the way a towel should. With that said the cooling feature works as expected however I do usually keep a towel in the cooler for when it's hot. My son actually ended up taking my first towel and absolutely loves it. It's the right size for games and for use after practice before he hops in the truck.Since my initial purchase I have ordered two more towels as my son took my first towel. With the price the color variations the cary case the size and overall function of this towel I'd not only recommend this product I will probably purchase more in the future for other friends and family members.

I live in Arizona And I have an Air conditioner, but it isn’t the best and unit I can get it fixed I have to be a little creative The extra Lg one is perfect. I tried another one before I bought this one. I thought it was going to be like this one, but it was definitely not like this one. This one is very light weight and vey soft, even when wet. My dogs like also they come and curl up next to me! I will be ordering more of this one and a few more of the other sizes and only the Alfamo brand.

This is new to me, and a pleasant newness. My 12 in. By 40 in. Gym towel is showing it age, so in an effort to replace it, I looked on internet. A great number of makers and sizes, but no 12×40s . Found cool towels come in 12x40 size range so I ordered several, with the intent use to absorb perspiration. They are advertised as a cooling source , so I followed the instructions and tried one. Boy oh boy, was I impressed, as was my wife, and trainer. In a workout situation they work as advertised, and will keep one cooler and less inclined to perspire. I gave some to my UPS delivery man and to my trainer, so they to can stay cool as they work.

Really does stay cool! World much better than the Chilly Pads I bought first. These ones don't turn into stiff cardboard when they dry. They are easy to wash and hang to dry. They fold down small into their own little carrying package. Love that it comes with a carabiner. We are going to use them to go to Disney World this fall and have been testing them out all summer. I have a son who is unable to sweat and he found them a lifesaver. They are a nice size and a few quick snaps has them cool right down again. They hold water well so they don't make you feel wet when you use them.

These towels definitely help in the heat but I think saying that they stay cool for 3 hours is a stretch. We use these a baseball games and they need refreshing every hour at least. I keep 2 of them in a bag of ice and water and switch them out when they start losing their cool.

This did exactly what I wanted it to - helped to keep my cool on a recent trip to the outback. And my husband even liked it. I would recommend this towel.

I bought this for my daughter and her husband who golf regularly and with the scorching temperatures we've had so far this summer it has worked very well at keeping them cool while on the course.! Would buy again.

Took this on a long hike and it worked well to keep me cool! I use it for playing ball in the summer. The case is not durable at all and already tore by the seal but i didnt like how it flapped around in the way attached to the outside of my bag anyway.
