Mediocre
Not the greatest in creating a deep flavor but good to add for stock or base of soups or stews. Very convenient packaging and user friendly though.

Anchovy broth tablet with lots of ingredients
The list of ingredients on the box (which has been listed by other reviewers) is much longer than the three listed on the product page (anchovy, kelp, & mushroom). Many of the unlisted ingredients are appealing, but they do include palm oil, maltodextrin, and MSG, which may be important for some people to know before buying.I made a soup that was kind of a hybrid of pho & ramen with rice noodles & thick broth. The tablets, or pills, as they’re often called, of the anchovy broth were a nice umami & flavorful addition. There are other times when a seafood broth is a good choice, so these would be handy to have in the pantry. I do, however, wish they’d pare down their ingredient list.

Good for quick soup base. Flavor okay, not as deep as if made from scratch.
This makes making stock korean base soup for a variety of things easier. Used for soondubu and felt like I had to put in some other seasonings. This does have MSG, so if you don't like that stay away. Mine did have a piece of plastic wrap in it, not sure what it was for, perhaps wrapping the silica gel? so I tossed it. Overall if you're too lazy to make a stock soup base, this works in a pinch. But if you're wanting some richer deeper flavor then suggest doing it the old fashioned way with boiling actual anchovies.
