Works with Proxmox
Using in a Proxmox server and it just worked. I am on Proxmox 8.3.5. I installed it and it was available to be configured after starting the server. I have it connected to a 10 Gb switch and it auto negotiated 10Gbps, so absolutely no complaints.Below is the output of ethtool:Settings for enp2s0f1:Supported ports: [ TP ]Supported link modes: 100baseT/Full1000baseT/Full10000baseT/FullSupported pause frame use: SymmetricSupports auto-negotiation: YesSupported FEC modes: Not reportedAdvertised link modes: 100baseT/Full1000baseT/Full10000baseT/FullAdvertised pause frame use: SymmetricAdvertised auto-negotiation: YesAdvertised FEC modes: Not reportedSpeed: 10000Mb/sDuplex: FullAuto-negotiation: onPort: Twisted PairPHYAD: 0Transceiver: internalMDI-X: UnknownSupports Wake-on: dWake-on: dCurrent message level: 0x00000007 (7)drv probe linkLink detected: yes

Lightning fast everything. Downloads in seconds. If not immediately.
Get decent speeds with this card. Ha, just kidding. This card is absolutely nuts. With the drivers installed as it says to do I was able to push out more than I actually pay for. Incredible product. Functionality runs 2 - 10GbE ports at speeds like this, and on a router from 2020? Can’t ask for much more than that.

Good card
That’s what it’s supposed to. I get a fall five gig says it’s a tinging card, but my provider does not provide to gig so I cannot test that part of it, but my vendor does support five gig and I’m getting every bit of that up and down a little bit of problem with the driver, but once I went to the website for the driver, I was able to download it and installed flawlessly it will not install on it itself. good product

Great replacement for Synology E10G18-T1 on DS1817+
Worked seamlessly on Synology DS1817+ but only at 1G or 10G - it would not do 2.5G.Much cheaper than the one from Synology E10G18-T1So I switched to a 10Gig SPD+ setup - apparently the switch combo with SPD+ is a lot cheaper than all in 10GB switch.

Unfortunately did not work for me
TLDR: It stops receiving or sending packets after an amount of traffic that will no longer work. It may have been a faulty one, but highly recommend staying away. Buyer beware!I tried...really...really hard to get this to work. I was using this for linux. I tried updating the drivers for this thing. I put this back up and back into the motherboard numerous times. I tried it with different OSes. I didn't have a 10Gbe router yet, but then I bought one. I got 10 GbE cables. I tried everything. It simply did not work.By "did not work", the card would work for the first few bytes sent or received, then it will drop any packets afterwards. You can never complete a 256 MB file, it stops approximately half way and 0 packets received. The worst part is that the network card shows no signs of issues. No kernel error messages. Nothing wrong with lights on the back.I've banged my head trying to fix this and I'm so sad that I had to return this. I'm not sure if it was a faulty device, Intel's driver, or this device is a scam, but I would recommend staying away from this card or any network card using the ixgbe driver.I've found success with another 10GbE adapter that doesn't use an Intel chip. That's all I can say without breaking Amazon's rules. Best of luck to you fellow Amazonians!

Wasn’t what I needed.
It didn’t seem to work very well for what I thought it would have done I returned it.
