Every home should have one and throw an extra one in your backpack!
Wow! This charger charged my phone to full from 14% in about an hour and still had juice left. It is very easy to use. You can plug it in to charge it or solar charge it. I think this item (maybe 2) is a definite must have for any household. It has two USB ports, a regular light, a flashing light, and an SOS light. It also has a small little carabiner so that you can hook it on your belt if you were camping or traveling. It appears to be fairly water resistant although I haven’t tested this fully. We do lose power during storms regularly, and having a charger for phones is a must. Really awesome item highly recommend. It’s really so handy I would recommend throwing one in a purse or a backpack as a charger for every day use.

SMALL BUT MANY CHARGES
I have many of these small solar chargers but this one performs best and has more capacity to charge my phone or tablet more tha once.

Pleasantly surprised
I took a chance on this solar charger after reading many reviews on this and similar products. I wanted something we could clip to our back pack that would keep our phones charged when we took a hiking vacation in Utah. We would fully charge the device overnight and then clip it outside of our pack during the day. Without the solar recharge it would charge my phone twice with some change. However, with the recharge the three of us could all recharge our phone at least once. Depending on how much video we took or how much our phones were searching for service we'd have to charge to more. I didn't test the limits of how fast it recharged vs how fast we used the charge but we didn't have to worry about losing power. The flashlight was a handy feature for the few caves we found.

EPIC FAIL DURING HURRICANE MICHAEL
This charger failed us exactly when we needed it most, in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. We were stranded for a week without power and we’re relying on this charger to power just a cell phone. On the 2nd day of use, it failed to power up and never came back on. Of course now we’re out of the refund period just 4 months later, so we wasted $20 on something that was supposed to help keep us in contact with family and emergency crews as we waited to be saved from a remote cape that was cut off from mainland because of the hurricane. And, now we have no recourse to demand a refund after only having purchased the charger in May.

Great product for outdoors. Duribule
This product does just as it states. Charged it at home to fully charge before use. We took it on a four day float trip it charged both our iPhone 8s and our wireless speaker the whole weekend. Left it tired to put dry bags while on the river it took a couple of dunks in the water and always fully charged up. We were also able to charge all three devices while it loosening even half its charge. Would highly recommend!

works well but heavy and bulky
This works pretty well. I took it on a backpacking trip and was able to charge phones and a kindle. Phones charge pretty fast especially if you turn them off . kindle was slow but that's because it's a kindle. did not charge them all at once, one at a time with a few hours in between.four stars because it is really heavy and bulky and the ring to put a carabiner on is super small and flimsy. maybe not the best product out there for backpacking but will be fine for car camping.

Compact and portable
I really like this lightweight charger. It’s already saved me a few times when my phones close to 0% charge and I’m away from home. I’m a bit of a worrier, so I love the solar charge capability in case I can’t find an outlet around to recharge the device. Can’t wait to take this backpacking!

Solar charging less than ideal, but a good battery
This is a good extra battery. It will charge several phones, and very quickly, before it runs out. If you have it in the sun while charging your phone, it seems to maintain its own level of charge, but if you can't do that and it runs down, it will NOT increase its charge by solar. You have to plug it in again. It held enough power to keep our 3 phones running on a 3 day backpacking trip, though. The company seems to have great customer service and is offering me unsolicited replacement/refund offers, which I appreciate.
