I’m really glad I decided to try this Klima controller. I had a other controllers before this and they worked OK. But Klima is objectively a better product for my needs.Physical controls: First of all, the Klima controller has buttons on the product (others do not). That means my family, my guests, my kids can all control the air conditioner without being forced to download the app. That’s a huge benefit. With the the other controllers, my guests had to use the normal remote because obviously, I wouldn’t force them to download the app. But when people use the normal remote, it messes up the app. This is no longer an issue for me.Product itself: Super high quality, starting with packaging and ending with the high quality metallic product itself. It’s very much like a premium nest thermostat. The other controllers arrived in paper packaging (in good condition but it just screamed low quality) and the products wer cheap plastic that was lighter than a feather. Five stars for the Klima.The app: Connected my Mitsubishi split unit flawlessly. The app is super clean and easy to use. That’s another issue I had with other brands. They were packed with features but were hard to navigate. Klima app is very easy to navigate, again feels very natural to use it and it doesn’t feel like some cheap rip off from China.Overall very glad I didn’t give up on these smart controllers. Highly recommend!

I’ve bought thousands of stuff on Amazon over the years. I seldomly leave a review. On this occasion I’ll leave a review because I was particularly nervous about buying this product and everywhere I went trying to find actual customers using the product I came up empty. Nevertheless, I bought it on a prayer and let me tell you I am delighted with this purchase! First off it cake in a well thought out package (Applesque). The instructions were clear. I did have a minor glitch when doing the command portion of the set up, I tried a few times having the device face up on a table and it failed, I held it in my hand and that seemed to do the trick. Then I mounted it, which was seamless given it came with two sided tape. I then connected it to my Alexa App and now I can just say: “Alexa Air Conditioner On/Off” or “Alexa set Air Conditioner to 20 degrees”. The app is loaded with lots more features and is easy and intuitive to use. It’s a clean and classy looking product, I’m using it in a STR so time will tell how it holds up under constant use. I love the product and I’m very optimistic about its future with some of the features I see in the pipeline. I’d definitely buy it again and very strongly recommend it to anyone looking to get a smart AC for a split unit.

I own a pair of Mitsubishi mini splits, and while I do enjoy having them, the remote that Mitsubishi includes with their splits is the same remote they have been using since the 90's. This Boldr Klima Smart Thermostat comes in and offers a much improved interface with a wall mountable controller which provides a lot of function in a compact size. Installation was very easy, the thermostat recognized my mini split model and was able to control it completely. The display is mirror finished which looks cool and I appreciate that the display goes to sleep when not being used, so it won't light up a really dark room. The resolution on the display is a little lacking, and is one of the areas where this unit falls short. I do like how easily it mounts to the wall (they couldn't have made it any easier), and for a basic controller, it works. The app is, ok. It won't win any awards but it does work, it lacks some of the more advanced functions of say a Sensibo, but it doesn't require any form of subscription. This is a solid thermostat that does what it says it does, and does it pretty well.

I have Daikin mini splits in two of my properties that I rent out. I always had issues with guests leaving the AC running at checkout. Sometimes it would stay running for a whole day or two before I would realise because cleaning came in to prepare the property for the next guests. That seriously racked up my energy bills. Now I can control these ACs remotely and schedule them in both my properties, which helps me reduce my bills that are a huge part of my margin. All from one dashboard. Super helpful. I highly recommend the product, especially if you are a property owner!

Overall a really good product. I had a Cielo thermostat previously and this is a huge upgrade.Physical product: 5 out of 5. Really nice weight to it. Really elegant, aluminium and glass finishes. Not plastic.App: 4 out of 5. Hooked up my mini split in 3 minutes. That was quick and easy. One bone to pick is that guardian mode feature is only coming out in 2 weeks. So will have to wait for that.

This thing is very nice. I have a Mitsubishi Split system in my office that used their WiFi system. This one is much better and provides actual data that I can use.

Unit did not work with my Mitsubishi unit (which isn't even that old btw). The programming didn't work and the set up runs you in circles to an almost maddening state. I contacted Customer Support as instructed for LCD original remotes that do not connect with the thermostat and they asked for 10 days to provide a response. I'm still waiting and it's been a great deal more than 10 days. I advise you to look at better units - one that I purchased instead and it immediately connected and works like a total pro. (thats the Cielo Breez Max). I tired returning the item and I'm getting the run around where they expect me to cover shipping. No thanks - buyer beware. Good idea, done better by others.
