There are many kinds of these hanging bags for your suitcase so my advice is measure, and measure again. Know what you want it for and buy accordingly. This particular bag is NOT a compression type packing hanging bag. I made sure I got the size that fit my carryon, the usual size and really took a measuring tape to the INSIDE of my case to make sure I bought the right size as I wanted to fill the whole thing up. They do come smaller. I hung this in my laundry room to shape out and then when I was ready to pack, I laid out all my clothing items and began to either fold flat or roll and place in one of the 4 compartments. It was so satisfying to have made all my clothing items fit! I then unhooked and placed the whole thing inside my carryon and tucked it and Boom! Even had room to tuck a few items in between the clothes once in. I did not use the side pockets for packing, but will use them when I hang it up in a closet where I'm going. I even put a head towel and hat on top before I closed my case with NO PROBLEM or squishing. Once at the hotel I just pick the whole thing up and hang it. There is a handle on top too. I put some cardboard on the bottom of each section for stability. If you have trouble packing and don't like compression cubes because you can't see what you have in them, I highly recommend doing something like this method. Once hanging I know I can get out the garment I need and not waste time. If you are an organizer, you'll like this. The material is mostly mesh for air but the hooks swivel, not heavy. I highly recommend.

very large in width at XL, and definitely put some sort of cardboard inserts so it keeps its shape. This fits inside my carry on luggage sideways, just find ways to fold to compress as much as you can.

I had a 10 day trip and only wanted to take a carry-on. Not only did I fit at least 8 warm weather outfits, panties, bras and two types of pajamas in this, the pockets on the sides held things like wipes, small Lysol sprays, dish liquid and other things. I did have to extend my suitcase but there's no way I would have been able to pack as much without this. The sections are deep and if you fold right, they hold A LOT. I have packing cubes and they would not have allowed me to take as much either. I also loved that I could just hang it in the closet and pull things as needed. When I saw how much I was able to pack, I bought one for my husband too. Worth every penny!

Kiss those organizer cubes goodbye, because this organizer is an absolute must! While I’ve tried packing cubes before, they never seemed to save much space and always took up too much room in my suitcase. Once I saw this style, I decided to give it a try for an upcoming week long vacation and I was absolutely impressed. I purchased the medium size based on reviews and I think it was the perfect size. I was able to fit way more clothes than I had thought (or really needed for a week) and saved so much space in my suitcase. If folded neatly and flat you can pack a decent amount of clothes in each section. I fit about 3 pairs of jeans and 4 pairs of shorts in one, 7 pairs of athletic leggings in another, 8-9 tshirts/tanks, and 5-6 pairs of long sleeves in the last. The side pockets were extremely helpful for things like socks, bras, and bathing suits! The organizer was very well made and showed no signs of splitting or tearing and I packed this thing to the absolute brim. It hung well when we arrived to our destination and made keeping organized so much easier while traveling. Once packed, it fit sideways in a large hard suitcase and took up about half the size so I had extra room for shoes, pajamas and other misc items. Best of all, my husband was happy he didn’t have to pack another suitcase in the car for just my stuff and we could share a suitcase. Absolutely recommend purchasing and will be sharing this product with friends and family looking for packing organization options!

We tried these on our last cruise because we wanted to go carry on only. Honestly, I returned them because I can fit so much more without them. The concept is great, and the idea of just taking them out and hanging them up when unpacking seemed amazing. Not so much, they take up too much valuable room in a carry on.

Thus suitcase organizer did no work for my needs. I returned it.

So, this item is great for packing a lot of clothes into your suitcase. However, I fit so much in there that my suitcase was overweight, and I had to take some items out and cram them into my carry on. Just be aware of the weight of the items you are packing if you are flying.

This is wonderful. It makes packing super quick and easy. And I could find everything very quickly without having to unpack when I got to my destination.
