Which has fewer calories, Royal Canin ultra light canned or Royal Canin light dry cat food? My kitty needs to lose some serious weight! Thank you!

Royal Canin site proposes 3/4 cup of the dry food for an overweight 10-lb. adult cat or 3 1/2 cans of the canned food if fed "in combination with dry food" (whatever that means!) Probably, in the end, you feed them whatever you can get them to eat, just decrease the amount a bit over time until you see the results you want. Maybe add some increased play/activity. Good luck!

Why the outrageous prices?

I totally understand price increase from mfg. but when a 3rd party buys a product and then splits the it in half and sells each half for the full price that is gouging. I have been feeding my cat this food for 2 years and pay the price listed here for 24 cans not 12. I.E. 12 cans is about $35 not $76. This should not be allowed. Chewy and pet stores sell a case of 24 cans for $76. I just paid $76 for 12 cans from a 3rd party. I won't do that again.

My cat was pushing 18 pounds and my vet said half-can twice a day. No dry food! That's were all the carbs and fillers are. I would start with half can three times a day. I hope there is no screaming. Good luck! This wet food worked for me. No dry, I'm serious, read the percentage of fat in your pet's food. Save the calories for when you go out of town and have to leave dry.

Food cans came in broken

Ordered and they were shipping in a plastic bag and when received the cans were dented/crushed/opened had to throw away
