Worst vegan ricotta ive ever had. Super lemony and sour

Got it thinking it was real Ricotta. The packaging is really deceiving as it's says in big print " Better Ricotta Cheese", only when I purchased it and opened is when I realized what I mistake I had made. That's when I read small tiny letters saying better "THAN" ricotta cheese. Unfortunately, it's not better than Ricotta- it tastes like sour tofu that sat in the sun for 2 days with a sweet blueberry aftertaste. I had planned on making baked stuffed shells and ended up wasting high quality organic mozzarella and shells because of this fermented putrid ricotta wannabe with the consistency of a toothpaste - I'd rather drink water from Flint Michigan. I am also considering fighting this charge with my credit card company because I feel cheated, used and empty inside. My pregnant wife now hates me and threatens me with Tofurky for Thanksgiving. I am honestly so traumatized and don't think I'll ever make stuffed shells ever again - well maybe after therapy sessions. Good luck y'all.

This is the NASTIEST vegan cheese I have ever had. It doesn’t resemble ricotta in taste or in texture. This product should be pulled off the shelves! The smell alone is wildly offensive. I’ve been eating vegan cheese for ten years, I’ve had them all. This one is by far the worst.

My wife tried to sneak this in on a baked ziti. The kids and I thought she used bad cheese. It was absolutely disgusting and tasted nothing like real ricotta. The packaging is very deceiving.

Bought as an experiment, out of curiosity, which turned out to be a disaster. Put it in Ziti Casserole, and my daughter immediately felt something wrong, and all other family also. Two hours preparation for a good family dinner utterly failed. No Ricotta at all, and the unbearable sourness. How dare they promote it 'Better Ricotta'! Unless you are a strict practitioner of dairy-free, or gluten-free, don't go for it, never.

It is very good but the price here is crazy!! I found it at Chamberlins health store for $6!!
