My partner works with adults sith learning difficulties and also children and adults to help with speech therapy, When i told her i had ordered this for reviewing she was over the moon.They are very very helpful and not just for Autism"Brilliant wuality and price and i would easily recommend this...

Not what I was expecting, stickers don’t match the picture, no emotion cards, activities aren’t en same and the board came green and yellow….

Received a green one, even though all the pictures and description states Blue.Not a massive issue but there's other discrepancies - the categories stated multiple times in the photos and on the description states you'll receive Food, Toys, Emotions, School & Tasks. However we received HUMAN ORGANS, BEHAVIOUR, ANIMALS, MATH & ALPHABET (received the cards for Food as well but no page in the folder for them). The Pecs cards for these are probably great but the stated categories would've suited our family a lot more especially the emotions cards. Human Organs seems such an odd category to have as a starting set.The "waterproof" cards are resistant to a few drops of water at best, if you spilled a drink on a card it would be ruined. The cards have a glossy front but are normal card on the back.Also, it was probably quite nieve of me to think the cards would be ready to use - they require being removed from the template and the included Velcro requires attaching individually. A time consuming and unexpected issue with the product.The folder itself is good (even if it is the wrong colour) I'd like to return it for an exchange and hope to receive the correct product. If I don't get the correct product I'm concerned a refund will mean I won't find a folder like this one again. But at the moment this product was a waste of money.

My grandkids use this visual aid when they stay over and it actually works really well.They become much more task orientated and life becomes much more peaceful!The set is well made, lightweight and simple to store. It has a stable stand and five categorised boards which work really well in everyday life.All the cards are designed to be easy to identify and are well crafted and very simple to use.It can be used to aid communication and includes emotion cards which are great to use if a child is overwhelmed, and some of the cards are aimed at older children so it’s something that will grow with your kids.It’s working well with scheduling and offers a variety of support depending on the individual child’s needs and the cards can be tailored to their specific interests or goals.It would clearly be helpful to children with autism or other developmental conditions but in my own house it’s reducing the chaos that is our school mornings and keeping us all on track!It’s fairly priced in my opinion and very versatile and effective.I hope you find my review helpful.
