I bought bottle to take on an upcoming vacation. I tested it to make sure it worked as soon as I got it and the water taste great. It is easy to charge and only takes a couple of minutes to purify the water. It doesn’t leak and I got it in black, it doesn’t show any fingerprints or dirt.

It may clean water but the taste of metallic is what I could not stand. I could not get over the taste of the water.

Wish it held more water but it's a decent amount, would buy again.

This UV self cleaning water bottle is made from good quality materials. The light is located in the cap and can be activated by just pushing down on it. Pushing it down once gives you a shorter cleaning while pushing it down twice gives you a longer cleaning. This is rechargeable and can be done just about anywhere. But the inside of the water bottle does not hold a lot of liquid. It takes a long time to charge. The lid has to be taken off to get a drink and honestly, I don’t know that the light is doing much of anything. I haven’t noticed a difference in taste or smell.

I like having this as a backup in the car because I know that it is bacteria free when I need it weeks later

With things that have UV cleaning, it's hard to really know if everything is working the way it should or if it's just hype, but thought I'd try this nonetheless. The bottle itself is good quality, has a slightly textured exterior for additional grip, and the lid screws on tight. The UV light is in the lid and dots light up to tell you it is running. Charge is fast and seems to hold.In theory, I'd never need to clean the inside of the bottle or the lid - ever. From what I can tell, this is mostly true as long as it's just water in there. If I put in something else, I do rinse it out well first, then run the cycle. No mold or anything wild growing in there so far. I do like that.The lid with the tech inside makes it a bit heavier than the average bottle but worth it for the extra value. Overall, I do really like it. If nothing else, the bottle itself is great quality.

Living in a hot climate means I need to drink a lot of water. Every time I go outside or in the truck, I bring water. For years I have used refillable bottle usually with a vacuum seal to help keep the water cold. After filling the bottles and drinking from them for 2 or 3 days the water starts to taste a little old and starts to smell musty. I then have to clean the bottle with a brush and soap and water. This bottle greatly extends the amount of time I can use it without have to clean it out. It does this with its built in UV sterilization. There is a UV light built into the bottom of the lid. It has a rechargeable battery and will automatically sanitizes itself. When charged the battery will last almost a month. All I have to do is screw the lid on and press down on it. There are a series of small LED lights built into the cap that light up blue to let me know it is working. Additionally the bottle is double layer vacuum sealed and it keeps water cold for a long time. I have had this bottle almost a month, have not had to recharge it and Iv’e only washed it twice. Not because it smelled just because I had been using it for well over a week and I thought I should. This bottle is the best water bottle I have had and I use it every day.
