The miniature cow Christmas gift made it an instant 5-star!I love a small-town romance add in a cowboy/country star and I'll read it all day long. Brody is my new book boyfriend he bought her a mini fluffy cow and named it Banana and built it a hut after Anna only mentioned wanting one once. Brody became Anna's personal chauffeur since she hates driving in the snow and he didn't want her to walk in the cold alone. Brody gave her his jacket because she didn't have one thick enough for the winter and he hated that.Anna was trying to put herself back together after her ex-fiance cheated on her and she left him wanting a fresh start. Anna didn't want to jump into a relationship but wanted to work on herself but soon enough Brody changed all of that. Brody was also working on things himself from his injury due to his singing career and the past trauma of losing his parents and not wanting to come back home after moving away. Anna helped Brody accept his past get through all of his memories from his past and have a better relationship with both his grandpa and his horse. The banter between these two was everything from the first time they met to their text messages, their car rides around town, and many more moments through their relationship. The way they got to know each other through text from asking each other questions before they figured out who exactly they were talking to. Once they figured out who each other was they both didn't want to reveal that until it was too late. I will be rereading this book again. If you love a small-town romance, cowboys, cows, and horses, then this book is for you.

I love a small town romance SO MUCH. The ranch? The cowboy doesn’t really wanna be cowboy cause he’s kinda of a big deal in the music world but also loves the ranch? The girl who ran to the small town from the big city because of her cr appy ex? And she finds the life she never knew she wanted?! The sort of enemies to lovers?! And their BANTER!? And then the texting each other without knowing that it’s each other?? And how QUICKLY they fell!?? It was SO GOOD. Hannah’s small town era is where I want to be FOREVER!I LOVE ANNA AND BRODY!! They were SO GOOD TOGETHER. The low angst, with lots of feelings, and mostly communication?! Brody had it SO BAD, and he was not going to let her go. The way he took care of her before they were really friends?? The driving?? The JACKET?? And then when they WERE friends?? And then QUICKLY MORE than friends?! Forget about it. Anna also was able to give Brody a real sense of comfort too, she really was able to make home feel like home again for him!! I also loved that Anna was able to find a real community! She was missing a group of girlfriends in her life and I loved how quickly she was able to find one!!I loved this new section of the Hannah Cowan verse that she’s given us!! I loved that we were able to see Braxton and Maddox again!!! But I’m also so excited for what is next for Cherry Peak!! As soon as I read the ending I KNEW what was next and I am SO EXCITED!

This book was literal perfection. My heart is so full, giddy, and also heartbroken all in one because of the fact that its over. Brody's and Anna's story was so pure. their development, friendship, love all being discovered was done so good. the way they are so confident in one another. these two kept me so giddy. i was literally in class reading and blushing because I COULD NOT PUT THE BOOK DOWN. i have no words other than Hannah knows what she does, and the queen can write anything and for me I will always give it a five star. she takes so much into consideration, and you just see the work she puts into every single book she writes. you literally can't put it down, and for those who have read HGM ahhhh those moments between Maddox and Braxton were EVERYTHING. I don't know how Hannah does it but I am glad to be living in a world where I get to read her writing.
