Not quite 5 stars
This is a good lightweight reacher and my only niggle is that the trigger is a bit too far from the handle for me to reach comfortably. Fortunately I have bought it as a present for someone with longer fingers than mine!

Well intentioned design but...
Ok at grabbing the larger items clothing etc... nothing too heavy. Didn't manage a large drinks can very well. Coins and pills however proved to be useless :(

Not folding.
I expected this to fold in the middle, as in the photo. It doesn't.I have pretty large hands. From the heal to the tip of my longest finger is about 180mm. I find it almost impossible to use this thing single handed. I bought it for my wife who has smaller hands. I don't think she will manage to use this at all. Before retirement I worked for a number of years with elderly people. I cannot imagine anyone with arthritis managing this at all.

I was led to believe by the picture there was a a part on it whereby there is a knotch that can be used to pull a sock or shoe with a zip on it,so unfortunetly it is not ideal.
