Do these boots breathe well? I'd be hiking in TX in the summer in them.

I love my boots! They fit great. So far, I have worn them for three seasons but not in very hot, hot weather. I can tell you, though, that your feet will be comfy in single-digit temperatures. I suggest Columbia's lighter weight mesh hiking boot/shoe. I own a pair of those as well and prefer them for the summer.

Are they really waterproof ?

Yes; they are legitimately waterproof and hold up very well in the rain/snow/puddles/streams. People often claim that Columbia boots/shoes are not waterproof because they say their feet/ankles still get wet while wearing them, but that's often because of snow/water getting in from above the ankle/leg and such. These are definitely waterproof.

Are these boots sized in mens?

No, these are Women’s boots and sized for women.

Perfect fit, PERFECT winter boot!

WONDERFUL boots! Warm, cushioned and great on ice! I looked for months at ratings for different boots and am so glad for people leaving ratings and detailed comments because otherwise I wouldn't have paid $90 for a pair of boots I wasn't sure of. I bought 2 other pairs of cheaper boots this year and both were disappointing in everything but the size. These do NOT disappoint! I wear 8.5 in boots with Birkenstock inserts and ordered them in an 8.5 and these fit perfectly.

Great boots, easy return process
