Highlands KET04 0.8L Cordless Stainless Steel Electric Kettle

Item arrived on time and looks very nice.However little clear capacity label is fitted upside down. When boiling water first time I poured water below the last line on the label to be on safe side, and despite that water boiled so strongly that it went over the top of the kettle, and inside it. And that was it as I thought, when second attempt made with half of capacity ,little light was off ,so I assumed kettle is broken...However kettle boiled water without the light on,and leaving lid open made excess of water from kettle insides to eveaporate and light resume to be on.So effectively I have kettle which boils safely around 0.6 litre of water instead of 0.8.... capacity label upide own...I decided to give it a chane though and I will see how it goes..

This is a lovely smaller kettle however I am returning it as I'm after a fully stainless steel kettle where no rubber/plastic comes into contact with the boiling water. Inside this kettle there is a rubber seal around the window. Therefore it is not suitable for my purpose. If this wasn't a issue for me I'd have been pleased with the purchase.

It serves it perpouse it’s a little slow to get to the boil that’s being it’s a good light weight little kettle I bought it because of Athrits in hands

Just the right size for older people. I was unable to get one of these from anywhere else. It would be improved by having a light to show when it is on.

Great size for my mum who cannot pick up a heavier kettle, only draw back is the time it takes to boil. Looks good.

I bought this for my mother who is 101 she is still able to make herself a cup of tea and was finding the ordinary sized kettle was rather heavy and was frightened of scalding herself.She is very pleased with this kettle it is just right even when it is full she can manage it without any problems. A very useful little kettle at a very usrful little price.

Lid broke after second use, but Highlands refund and communication was first class

Straightforward design and good capacity for 'small' kettle but slow to come to the boil.
