I like the scent but don't love it, wanted it to smell more like a spruce tree. Definitely worth the money, it's a great product, just wish the scent leaned more on the woodsy side

This is my second Spruce and it is worth writing my first Amazon review for. I have searched for an all-natural, long-lasting, and intoxicatingly-good-smelling deodorant for some time now, and this is it. And I have tried it all: from ClayDry to Native and have been left disappointed and even in some embarrassingly sticky situations of smelling far less than fresh way before day's end. My partner would even gently joke about me not wearing deodorant when I was! That luckily is a thing of the past and I write this review in the hopes of saving anyone else the time and frustration of hunting for the right deodorant that has it all.

This is a great natural alternative with no aluminum. It does have baking soda, but I need to have that for odor protection. The lavender scent is very mild. I actually wish it was a little stronger, but it is not a deal breaker. I will buy this again.

A friend of mine turned me onto Spruce about a month ago and Spruce is here to stay. It works just as well as the big name deodorants we are all familiar with but with more natural and thoughtful ingredients. I apply it in the mornings and it lasts me throughout the whole day (even after I do hot yoga!) The smell is great, fresh, and not overpowering. I've also used other deodorants that leaves stains on my white shirts which hasn't happened with Spruce after a month of use. Totally satisfied and a new lifetime customer!

Yeah this is my 2nd and last attempt at using a Spruce Natural product. If I had done my homoework before hand I would have realized most of the positive reviews are generated/fake reveiws. The first warning sign is product arrives not factory sealed. The initial smell, is pleasant, but that is where the positives end. Everything people report with irritation, the deoderant actually clogging pores and causing odors to build up quicker and sttonger, are accurate. This rather than dooderizing, seems to just help increase blocked and irritated pores, and hence body odor. And this from someone who does not have issue with other deoderants. Wanted to give this a try based on its natural and aluminum free claims. After using, have great doubts about those claims. Would not recommend. Had to initiate return after 2 days. Avoid.

As someone who does not like to drink out of plastic water bottles, to talk on a cell phone unless doing so via speakerphone, and attempts to avoid microwaving food, I had been avoiding wearing deodorant for many years because of a fear (justified or not) of the artificial and unknown ingredients that others seemingly did not give a second thought about rubbing under their arms. I use Spruce because I was comforted and impressed by the simple ingredient list made made from natural and organic ingredients (including simple and easily pronounceable words; unlike other brands...). I really like the product and will be purchasing again.

It’s natural. Goes on crumbly though. Still leaves a residue afterwards. Don’t like that.

This was my first time buying a natural deodorant after years of trying to convert I made the switch. After a week of using this I am really impressed and glad I made the switch. It goes on really smoothly, and my pores don't feel clogged after using it like traditional deodorants. I have found that the scent lasts all day which i was really impressed with. I do wish they had more variety in scents. Will definitely repurchase in the future.
