Works great, when it works
They are hard to actually thread into drywall. They don't self tap, and a small pilot hole doesn't work. I have to make a big hole for the base of the screw, and then I have a 75% chance of it working. When it doesn't work, either the plastic threads get crushed, or the plastic Phillips head gets mangled. When it works it seems very strong.Maybe I'm doing it wrong. But if these were so sensitive to installation technique then there should be instructions in the packaging. In all cases I believe I was anchoring into regular drywall.

Been after a bulk supply of these
I've used wall anchors a lot in the past, this type is one of my favorite to use over the hinge type anchors or the smaller nylon ribbed variants. Yes these anchors make a bigger hole and require some putty to cover when no longer needed, but for projects that require a more "permanent solution" these are worth the extra labor down the road. Normally I can only find these in small 3-5 pack in the store, but to have 100 of them for a decent price is exactly what I've been after

So Easy
If you have not used this type of drywall anchor, you should. Just drive it into the wall (assuming there is no student directly behind the sheetrock) with a drill/driver, and then drive the screw into the anchor. Easy and strong sheetrock anchor. It does leave a pretty big hole if you need to remove it, but sparkle away.

Trash. Do not buy!
The first one "melted" against the drywall and this wasn't anything high speed. The second made it in but the inside where the Phillips but goes....melted when the larger threads engage the drywall. I'd be afraid to hang anything on these.

Adequate
When inserting the center screw, the anchor tended to spin, driving it too far into the drywall and reaming it out rendering the hold useless.

Four Stars
Works as intended, but leaves huge hole if placed incorrectly

work as expected, much cheaper
This is essentially the same product I have purchased at Lowe's for years, very handy to have. For the quantity, though, these were a fraction of the Lowe's price. I'm glad I finally thought to look!
