Holly's Day at the Pool: Walt Disney Animation Studios Artist Showcase Hardcover – Picture Book, April 25, 2017

Delightful story with a positive message! I purchased this book while looking for childrens’ books for my students.As a preschool teacher, I’ve been putting in some more contemporary books into the classroom bookcases for the children to enjoy and “Holly’s Day at the Pool” became an instant favorite this summer! Children from 2-8 around the school enjoyed the story and it became a classic during circle-time storytime sessions. The illustrations are appealing and charming, the story is relatable and encouraging to the kids, and the writing is engaging for both the reader and the listeners. Additionally, I always recommend this book to parents as well!

Bought this book as a bedtime story for my son without much expectations, only knowing that it is beautifully illustrated and it is a Walt Disney Studio Artist Showcase book! Turn out that this book not only has great illustrations, but the values it impart are really what we, parents want for our children; and my son loves it and has been bugging me everyday to read it, bedtime or not :) I really think he is braver now and I suspect he relates alot to Holly :)

I purchased this book because i love Benson Shum's artwork, The story and artwork are extremely adorable and very sweet.I brought the book to my brothers house and read it to his daughter for bed time and it quickly became her favorite book, now we both own a copy of the book and will read it to each other over the phone every week!I can not recommend this book enough, it's absolutely amazing!

Cute art, but the story makes little sense at times.... Kind of insane.

A wonderful tale, delightfully written and beautifully illustrated. Its fun and engaging for both the parent reading and the child listening. I bought this for my 5 year old daughter who absolutely LOVED it, especially Dottie, her favorite character! We have read it often, and it has become one of her favorite Go-To's at bedtime. Benson Shum has given us a great book and we look forward to his next ones.

Absolutely the cutest book with some of the best illustrations around! This book tackles the fear of water; something many children are fearful of. In a very positive way Holy is encouraged and concurs her fears! We have now bought 6 of these book and I plan on ordering 2 more. Great to see such wonderful books being published!Colleen

I bought this book for my 3 month old daughter and she loved it! She locked her eyes onto the colorful pages and seemed to listen to every word. The book was well written, has a fun and engaging story and lots of colorful and amazing illustrations. I would highly recommend this book to anyone with kids- you can't go wrong!

Holly's Day the Pool is an adorable book! It is full of imagination, colors, and fun! My girls and I love reading this book because my youngest can relate with Holly's fear of the pool and all the creative "what ifs" that come along with that!Well written and the pictures are amazing!! Yay for Holly, Dottie and Piggy Wig!!

Both the illustrations and the story are very cute. The book contains more pages than most children books which makes a nice change. My two-year-old loves it!

This book is so amazing! The drawings are amazingly lovely and beautifully made. =)And piggywig is the best character of all!! I think that PiggyWig should get his/her own spinoff book.It could be called "The amazing adventures of Mr PiggyWig".

I just think is amazing book for kids. I think this book would help other children to learn that trying new things can be scary, but sometimes when we try, we can find things that make us happy too. I bought a copy for my nephew and his mom love it too.

A great book for kids of all ages. Purchased this book to read to my 1.5 yr old son and he loves it. I'm sure one day he will be reading this book on his own and enjoying it just as much. Book is filled with bright and fun illustrations that keep the kids entertained and the story line is so adorable. A must have book and will also make a great gift.
