This is a good game

I've just started reading The Hero of Ages, the third book in the Mistborn trilogy, and if you're a fan of the series, or even just a fan of board/card games, Mistborn: House War is the game for you. Not only does it pay homage to the book series in fun and interesting ways, but the very mechanics of the game are unique, and create a different play style and experience for players each time they play. You don't need to be a fan of the books, or even fantasy in general to appreciate this incredible game.

Great game set in the Mistborn universe. No real spoilers in the game, so it's fine to play with people who have not finished the series. I didn't read all the 'flavor' text on the cards, but i'm sure there is minimal spoilers on there.

Definitely a fun and interesting game. It seriously brought out a different side to my family. Highly recommend for fans of Mistborn. If you're not a fan of the books, it's still a fun game, but not as much.

Obviously if you read the book, it's a LOT more enjoyable. and it's somewhere halfway through the first book. So there are no spoilers. However, even if you haven't read the book, the game is very enjoyable.

Loved the series and love board games so I thought I’d pick it up. It has some very fun mechanics. Loved it!

...but they should be.This game was an absolute THRILL. I really like that it sort of requires roleplaying, too.
